The songs are pretty basic but this is still miles better than whatever the hell that last album was. Liam Gallagher As You Were2.5 averageRoyal Blood How Did We Get So Dark? The only songs I really like are She's Creeping, Sleep, Lights Out, and Hook, Line & Sinker. The rest feels like filler. Definitely a step down from their debut.2.0 poorblink-182 CaliforniaThe title of the lead single is very fitting, because this album bored me to death, and this is coming from someone that used to be a huge blink-182 fan. It's too poppy, there's no fun riffs, and all of the songs pretty much sound the same. The older blink albums have heart and soul, and their self titled album is one of my favorite albums of the 2000's, but California is just radio friendly bubble gum boy band pop garbage for the kiddies. I knew this band wasn't going to be the same without Tom Delonge, but I didn't think they'd take this big of a nosedive. 1.5 very poorGreen Day Father of All MotherfuckersIt saddens me to think that the same band that brought us Dookie and Nimrod is also responsible for this abomination.
