Feeder Silent Cry
Tempted to give it a 4. You could make a good case for Silent Cry being the best Feeder album.
There are certainly no Godzillas on this record.

Whether you love the energy of Miss You, Itsumo and Into The Blue, the soothing melodies of
Sonorous and Fires, or the lyrical genius of Silent Cry and Guided By A Voice, there's something
on here for everyone; and with the exceptional manner in which Grant has crafted each track, you
won't tire of it too quickly either. 8:18 is fantastic and probably my favourite song on the
album.

Circa Survive Juturna
Throughout this record there is a terrible disconnect between the vocals and instruments. Stop The
Car is vaguely reminiscent of the Silversun Pickups. With the exception of brief moments in the
tracks (often the instrumental bits since the vocals are poor in my view), the only saving grace
is Always Getting What You Want. Here the vocals really work for the first time and the track has
identity and replayability. I wish the rest of the album sounded like this.

Undoubtedly the best album to come out of the up-and-coming throwing up into spinning washing
machines scene.
