It feels very coherent as a whole, even if some tracks stand out more than others. These guys certainly display a lot of potential, and are on the track of carving out a very nice and original sound for themselves. Bands like this need to exist to push the boundaries of the slowly-growing-stale style they occupy. It's the same band, just now adding in some foreign elements like clean vocals and extra backing tracks. It damn near out-Periphery's the real Periphery for me. Front half of the album is just such quality. I'd say this is on par with Matriarch.
