| Bloody Knives make a kickass combination of loud, enveloping shoegaze and punk intensity. Think driving, distorted bass lines, synth atmospheres, reverb-drenched and sometimes dissonant guitar leads, and sparse vocals that evoke Ernest Green of Washed Out. A very darkly intriguing atmosphere pervades the entire release. This definitely should have gotten more attention upon release, looking forward to more releases from this group. |
