Rich Brian The Sailor |
Album thoroughly surprised me haha. Beats are great, instrumentation is fantastic. Falls short on the lyrical side
with ALOT of cringe inducing lines, however Rich comes through with some nice verses. Kids is probably the
highlight when it comes to lyrics on this album, the others can be hit or miss.
Vocals and rapping are stellar on this throughout and shows a natural progression from Rich’s’ album last year.
Admittedly, it starts out strong with the first five songs. The next four are not as strong unfortunately, there’s a
lack of memorability there that stops me from enjoying it as much. However, the last three songs close the album
out on a very high note and saves it from sounding too monotonous.
Recommended tracks: The Sailor, Yellow, Kids, Drive Safe, Slow Down Turbo, Where Does The Time Go
