Alesana The Emptiness
This album is nostalgic for me which is why I'm giving it a 5. I honestly can't think of anything I don't like about this album. I guess some of the tracks weren't as good as others (didn't love heavy hangs the albatross as much as hymn for the shameless but i still loved both of them) but i mean thats to be expected from any album. maybe if i re-listened to it i'd have less of a bias
Bayside Bayside
Circa Survive Blue Sky Noise
damn I love this album. one of my all-time favorites. i love the weird nostalgic steampunky feel it gives off
Crooks Are We All The Same Distance Apart
Holy shit, man. I don't listen to melodic hardcore but this album really got to me. I love it.
Dance Gavin Dance Mothership
This album is one of my favorite albums of all time. I love everything about this album. I listen to it waaay too much and I've never gotten tired of it.
Kendrick Lamar DAMN.
Scary Kids Scaring Kids Scary Kids Scaring Kids
i really really love this record, in my opinion its absolutely beautiful, Tyson Stevens is wonderful on vocals, and Steve Kirby/Chad Crawford worked magic on those guitars. Even though some of the songs are kind of cheesy and maybe a little bland (Set Sail, Blood Runs Forever, and A Pistol To My Temple just dont have as much depth as the others on the album), they hold a very special place in my heart.
Senses Fail Still Searching
I can't get this album out of my head. In a good way.

Get Scared Demons
This was one of my all time favorite albums for a year and a half after it came out. I've analyzed all the lyrics and i definitely think its a concept album and I love it. Love the maturity of the lyrics and I love the fucking drums!!! the drums might be the biggest improvement. My least favorite thing about this album is the similar structure of all the songs. I'd really like to see them experiment, because the changed song structure of demons made it really stand out.
Saosin Translating the Name
Saosin Saosin
Secret And Whisper Great White Whale
This band puts out such beautiful dreamy ocean inspired music. I love this album, but i feel like its easy for other bands to push secret & whisper to the back of the line because its such a specific yet familiar sound. you can get essentially the same experience from saosin and circa. The only way you would find and love this album is if you were really looking for something different but not too different. still love this bands creativity and ocean metaphors, the lyrics are so original and beautiful.
Secret And Whisper Teenage Fantasy
Sianvar Stay Lost
Silverstein A Shipwreck in the Sand
Silverstein Dead Reflection
I love this whole album to death. Only complaint is that they havent really experimented at all, but thats hardly a complaint because they clearly know what they want in terms of sound.

4.0 excellent

love this album so so much, but recently i've found i am coming back to this less and less. It is kind of forgettable. also I hate Us In Motion. I give it a 4 because my 4.5 and 5s have continued to influence me.

Get Scared Cheap Tricks and Theatrics
b-sides is way better than the original. still love the original but it was so hard to get into at first after listening to BKOM and EOTGM. its a strong contrast and I think its a good example of what happens when you get signed to a label. while BKOM and EOTGM are good, i think Cheap Tricks and Theatrics is the real Get Scared.
GHOSTEMANE Hexada
Green Day American Idiot
Harley Poe Satan, Sex and No Regrets
Hawthorne Heights Hurt
im not much of a hh fan, but i thought i would give this a listen out of curiosity. i think this is a pretty solid ep, but some of the lyrics and the last three tracks were kind of "eh" for me. however, i really liked Hurt and Common Crook, so that brought my rating up.

Get Scared Built For Blame, Laced With Shame
Yiiiiiiiiiiiiiikes. I loved this album back in middle school but Joel was recently arrested for child porn and i cant listen to this shit anymore. Not going to change my rating though because whatever Joel did doesnt change the quality of music
Get Scared The Dead Days
Ghost Town Evolution

I Am Committing A Sin The Tragedians EP
My Chemical Romance The Black Parade
i liked most of the tracks on here but most of them aren't very memorable. still decent.
Salvia Palth melanchole
Saosin In Search Of Solid Ground
not their best but I really The Alarming Sound of A Still Small Voice and Fireflies and i guess the general feel of the album, even if the rest of the tracks fall short.
Saosin Along the Shadow
Scary Kids Scaring Kids The City Sleeps In Flames
Silverstein When Broken Is Easily Fixed
Silverstein I Am Alive In Everything I Touch

Alesana On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax
Alesana Try This With Your Eyes Closed
Alesana Where Myth Fades to Legend
Alesana The Decade EP
Alesana Confessions
i was really disappointed with this album. I absolutely LOVED The Emptiness in 8th grade but while I appreciate the finishing of the Annabel story, this album seemed like a huge mess. everything was so complicated its difficult to follow and just ends up kind of muddled. Sometimes simplicity is more effective. I don't know, maybe I've grown out of Alesana.
Bush The Sea of Memories
Chiodos All's Well That Ends Well
Dance Gavin Dance Tree City Sessions
Dance Gavin Dance Artificial Selection
Get Scared Best Kind of Mess
I changed my rating from a 4 to a 2.5 because I realized Get Scared didn't even write most of this.
They were completely controlled by their label at this point, the label made lyrics that appealed to
edgy angsty teens, which is the target audience. not saying nick wasn't dealing with stuff, but hes
not even credited as writing these lyrics. the other releases, however, were definitely from him
and the band.
Kendrick Lamar To Pimp a Butterfly
Love the message, not my genre of music. Really liked the last track though.
