Too bad the singer ended up killing himself while he was withdrawing from heroin in the mid 90's long after the band was broken up and his X's went out the window. A really good guy too, I know somebody on the net since way back on usenet newsgroups, told the story on alt.music.hardcore,didn't want to name the band even, but after a few exchanges, he confirmed it. The guy was extremely sensitive, although not a beta, he struggled...woulda needed a mood stabilizer.Violator Chemical AssaultYouth of Today Can't Close My Eyes (Reissue)Youth of Today Break Down The WallsYouth of Today We're Not In This Alone4.5 superbAgnostic Front The American Dream DiedBad Religion SufferBad Religion The Empire Strikes FirstBad Religion True NorthBreakdown Battle Hymns For An Angry PlanetI just gave this one a spin after getting it for cheap and man, we were just overloaded with good shit in 2000 I didn't notice how great this is. Of course it's not the original Breakdown album but it's great, despite the similarities to Sick Of It All, especially in the barker's department, he sounds more like Lou Koller from way back on Blood Sweat and No Tears so that's okay.. That instrumental that's particularly melodic The Day After really grips one by their music sense, if they got any, fits well as intro You Let It Go To Your Head. Superb old school NYHC.Exodus Bonded by BloodF.Y.P. My Man GrumpyLast album and only album with Joe on bass and he helped Todd write songs more than all the other FYP bassists. Earth Crisis I'm looking at you, but also the dipshit who turned those guys into that sound, Raid. Only a hardcore namd (they started as real hardcore, their last EP is the blueprint for shit like Morning Again and the former, from Tennessee could apply Christian Identity to Militant Veganism and even touches of Islam and call it "Hardline ideology.". Fuck those idiots, I hope the guys in Raid are dead from a fire.4.0 excellentBad Religion GeneratorBad Religion The Gray RaceBlood for Blood SerenityCarry On It's All Our BloodDestruction Cracked BrainExodus War Is My ShepherdF.Y.P. Too bad they're too old now to do more than split ep's with often old songs replayed or acoustic songs, Trump is worse than Dubya, who will sing about it as great as this (also Bad Religion's The Empire Strikes First although melodic hardcore punk and some songs that are not political on it, is very engaging in how the Oligarchs have to be taken down. Musically. it's nice to hear MDC with a great production, from an old timer too, Don Fury. The fury at the end of the first track that turns into power violence makes my blood boil still 13 years later.Megadeth Killing Is My Business... and Business Is Good!Megadeth The World Needs A HeroNOFX CoasterNOFX Wolves in Wolves' ClothingNOFX The War on ErrorismNOFX So Long and Thanks for All the ShoesNOFX White Trash, Two Heebs and a BeanNOFX So What If We're On Mystic!Pantera Reinventing the SteelPennywise Land Of The Free?Propagandhi Less Talk, More RockPropagandhi Where Quantity Is Job #1Refused The EP CompilationRefused This Just Might Be... Heh. Otherwise, I liked the dynamics of Chris Dodge being the second singer on here, if you don't know who that guy is you're likely not a person I'd like to talk about music with, he formed Sheep Squeeze, then when he left NUFAN after Don't Miss The Train formed Spazz and with Charles Bronson were the masters of Power Violence in the 90's. Although he was talented enough to play as lead guitarist on Don't Miss The Train where the dual-vocals thing was dialed down, maybe only in 2 songs max is he allowed to sing a word or a phrase. Tony taking controls as his voice is better on the follow-up than this one, but that doesn't matter. I had a cassette tape, official, with Incognito on one side and Don't Miss The Train on the other my much older cousin gave to me, so I played these 2 (and Daily Grind) to death and they stand the test of time.NOFX Punk in DrublicNOFX RibbedNOFX Regaining UnconsciousnessNOFX Cokie the ClownNOFX I Heard They Suck Live!!Pantera Cowboys from HellPennywise The FusePennywise Reason to BelievePennywise All or NothingPropagandhi How to Clean EverythingRazor Custom KillingRefused The Shape Of Punk To ComeSacrifice Soldiers Of MisfortuneSatanic Surfers Skate To HellSepultura Chaos A.D.Slayer Christ IllusionSlayer Diabolus In MusicaSlayer Show No MercyThe Offspring Splinter3.0 goodBad Religion TestedI actually enjoy the song Tested a lot, it kind of speaks to Brett (this was when they were Brett-less), "the test is the recoveryyyyyyy".rBeing myself an addict, I can understand Brett better than those who never shot an opiate and felt joy in a way that should not be felt naturally heh.rThe single version of Dream of Unity, where the guitar are heavy and not like the one here, is actually better than all of No Substance, the only terrible BR album, only Hear It is alright and that's it, the only one I'll never buy (along with In The Unknown).rBad Religion Bad ReligionBad Religion Back to the KnownBlood for Blood Livin' In ExileGuttermouth Shave The PlanetLagwagon Let's Talk About FeelingsLagwagon Let's Talk About Feelings (Remastered)Megadeth So Far, So Good...
