Cmoney2423 is one of the worst rappers I've every heard.rHe achieved minor internet fame with his
song 'Shitted On My Dick' - a comedy rap track about, well, a girl taking a shit... on his dick...
Listening to that track COULD lead you to believe that he could produce decent comedy songs, but
unfortunately Cmoney has no talent or skills whatsoever, so any clever or humorous lyrics are
covered up by his lack ability to sing, rhyme or even rap on beat.
His style on this release is actually very reminiscent of early Yung lean - but worse. Like I
said, he can't rap on beat, he can't rhyme, and his voice is legitimately painful to listen to.
These are all most evident on the first two tracks especially, where his voice is so ridiculously
off-key and off-beat that it's almost unlistenable. To his credit, I think the song 'Love Again'
was actually kinda decent. I still wouldn't describe it as ENJOYABLE, but it's listenable at
least.
In conclusion, Cmoney is a terrible terrible musician, but maybe someday, if he actually works on
his abilities as a rapper, he could fill the niche of 'comedy cloud rap'. |
Death Cab for Cutie manages to become even more lifeless and dry on this release.rOnce upon a time Ben Gibbard was a talented lyricist and a great musician, but he has slowly devolved into a boring, formulaic musician who's only selling-point is having once been good.rMost disappointing album I've ever listened to, considering the strength of the first two songs. If the entire album was as strong as the beginning, it could easily be Death Cab's return to form after a bad album, but following these two, every song is just LIFELESS to be honest, it's just a cash-grab at this point.rI miss the old Death Cab  rRIP, 1997 - 2008 |
