65daysofstatic The Fall of Math
Death Grips The Money Store
Godspeed You! Black Emperor Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven
Kendrick Lamar To Pimp a Butterfly
In the words of Jack Donaghy, "I've got two ears and a heart, don't I?"
Madvillain Madvillainy
Neutral Milk Hotel In the Aeroplane Over the Sea
The happiest album about monsters, insanity, and genocide you'll ever hear.
The Cure Disintegration
The Microphones The Glow Pt. 2
On the surface, this album is minimalist and shy. Dig a little deeper, and you'll find one of the most complex, dense, textured, emotional, and creative albums of all time.
Wax Fang La La Land
How do you pull off an over the top homage to prog and psychedelic rock without it becoming an unbearably tongue in cheek parody of itself? Ask the belting, kazooing, sarcastic, yet completely earnest geniuses of Wax Fang.
Wilco Yankee Hotel Foxtrot

4.5 superb
Brockhampton SATURATION III
Moodie Black Nausea
Safe To Say Hiding Games
Safe To Say takes on a significantly darker tone with a style slightly reminiscent of Brand New's The Devil And God Are Raging Inside Me, and it pays off big time.
Safe To Say Down in The Dark
Safe To Say mixes emo with doom metal in an unlikely combination that works ridiculously well. The only thing keeping me from giving this album a perfect score is the song Hiraeth which lacks originality and flavor unlike the 12 other tracks on this crushing, apocalyptic album.
The White Stripes Elephant
Wax Fang The Astronaut

4.0 excellent
Brockhampton SATURATION II
Death Grips Bottomless Pit
The Money Store meets Jenny Death to make some of their most abrasive yet accessible material yet with heavy, distorted, hardcore punk guitars and infectious electronic hooks throughout.
Driftless Pony Club Expert
Driftless Pony Club Magnicifent
Fall Out Boy Folie a Deux
A fantastic piece of pop rock that pisses me off with how good it is considering the quality comparison with Fall Out Boy's other records.
Jack White Boarding House Reach
Josin In the Blank Space
Wax Fang Mirror, Mirror
Wax Fang Black and Endless Night

3.5 great
AWOLNATION Run

Muse The 2nd Law
SayWeCanFly Between the Roses
The songs remind me of something my mom would play for me when I was a kid to get me to fall asleep, so I get a sense of comfort and nostalgia from them. However, many of them feel uninspired and generic, so I can't pretend this album is anything more than a 54 minute lullabye.
Wax Fang Victory Laps

2.0 poor
Arctic Monkeys AM
Driftless Pony Club Zastera

1.0 awful
Corey Feldman Angelic 2 The Core
Set It Off Baby, You Don't Tripajaharda
When even the band itself, whose modern output isn't even that good to begin, acknowledges this EP as being bad, you know you're in for something truly terrible. That's like a turtle telling someone they're going too slow.
