This was released as a complete surprise today, no promotion, nothing. It's possibly one of the
best, if not the best effort in Avenged Sevenfold's discography. M. Shadows is screaming again,
it's a throwback to Waking the Fallen / City of Evil era days. The closing track "Exist", is over
15 minutes long, and it's one of the best songs of that length I've heard in a long time. This was
a completely unexpected treat, and is easily one of my top albums of the year for 2016. |

anything they've ever done before, and is far more enjoyable. The production makes more sense, and
the focus on the more melodic tendencies was absolutely needed. Time to bump my score up. |
