Airdash Hospital Hallucinations Take One
Airdash won't blow you away with their originality, but they are skilled musicians that play some tight riffs, and that's all you could ask from this 80's thrash album. Fits right in with some of the more well-known bands of the genre.

Shot-Gun Equilibrio
Shot-Gun's EP, "Equilibrio," showcases a thrash metal assault with progressive tendencies. These guys offer fresh, technical riffs that don't sound like the same ones being recycled throughout the genre. While the prog sections may feel somewhat uneven at times, they add depth to most of the songs. The vocals are all in Spanish, further distinguishing the band. Overall, the band could be described as a less refined Heathen. Cool Stuff.

Mercenary First Breath
It has a few moments of tasteful guitar work, but they're overshadowed by equally distasteful, uninspiring "heavier" sections, as well as a sub-par vocal performance. This band is much more successful when they focus on melody and harmony, rather than brutality. It is overall a mediocre effort, but with polarized highs and lows.

Gama Bomb Survival of the Fastest
Gama Bomb Untouchable Glory
In 2015, one would think that the thrash revival scene would try something new for once. If that's what you
came here for, then I've got some bad news. Untouchable Glory forces itself into a hole somewhere between
generic and corny. Adding to that, none of the songs really do anything to distinguish themselves from one
another. The album is just a compilation of fast, repetitive riffs that show some technicality once in a while,
but not to any added effect.

Monuments (UK) Gnosis
Obituary Inked in Blood
Reign of Fury Death Be Thy Shepherd
Sadus Out for Blood

Sodom Get What You Deserve
Stratovarius Stratovarius
There's nothing particularly terrible about this album; it just lacks any real inspiration or interest. Unless
you're someone who wishes power metal was slower and more bland, I don't recommend this. At times it feels
like Stratovarius might begin to show remnants of their former glory, but then the songs fail to gain any
momentum, falling into repetitive ruts. The album is a monument of complacency and nothing more.
