The perfect follow up to 'Saudade'. I had very high expectations coming in as I loved that EP so much, but this is a fantastic next step and a great evolution in their sound.

A bit overly self-indulgent at 16 tracks and just under 1 hour long, but some absolutely massive tracks on here. A step up from the last effort for sure. A collection of songs that I definitely want to see live, so job done on that front.

I think this is pretty decent to be fair. Some interesting ideas, songs that sound like they'd be good live and I think they'll manage to put together a solid debut album when they get round to doing it. Will it reach the heights that any of the last 3 letlive. albums did? Would be very surprised...

A really enjoyable debut. +1 on Steph being a brilliant vocalist. I think it gets a bit samey at times, but overall a solid start to their career.

I hadn't heard of these guys before listening to this album, but very enjoyable post-punk, with
heavy indie-rock and shoegaze vibes.

It's a step up from the really average pop punk stuff - i.e - ROAM's latest effort. It's a good listen, but no real stand out tracks and it still falls behind a lot of the other recent album releases within the genre.

This album starts off quite exciting, but kind of fades off towards the end, with only "Like This" really standing out as a great track from the latter part. If this band managed to nail down their sound for a full length they'd be capable of producing a really great record, but unfortunately for every 2 or 3 songs they get it right, there's 2 or 3 where it feels kind of flat and a bit dull.

I checked this out as I'd seen a few strong reviews stating that this album showed "breathtaking maturity" and huge progression from their previous work. Absolutely laughable in my opinion. There is slight progression from "Never Happy, Ever After", especially sonically, but any attempt As It Is have made to mature their sound on this record is massively hindered by Patty Walters' vocals. The other vocalist, Ben Langford-Biss, generally impresses in the songs that he features in, with the guitarist giving off a slight Charlie Simpson vibe at times. Walters' vocals hold this album back and it's only due to the massively watered down alternative scene of the current era, populated by the likes of 5 Seconds of Summer and Sleeping with Sirens, that will allow this album and band to be taken seriously as a pop-punk band.
