It is complex and unrelentingly heavy and fast. They also get a little bump because they can recreate this sound perfectly live, proving that this album isn't studio magic hiding mediocre musicianship.. They lose a few points however, as the OP does have a point in that all the songs sound incredibly similar and the album feels like one long track.
