Loved Sunbather, personally thought it was much more depressing and darker. In NB, the heavy parts are much heavier (yes!) but the shoegazey parts were so, fruity and 80's - I didn't care for it. Gifts for the Earth would have been such a better song if the ending wasn't so gross and if throughout the album the heavy parts went on longer and the shoegazey parts flowed better. All the songs seemed to have the exact same structure, and it gets boring. The softness seems so forced while on Sunbather, hell even Roads to Judah, the softer parts just seemed to click, not to long and not to short, and they just sounded right. Still really enjoyed it though!
