5.0 classic
Between the Buried and Me Colors
My favourite album of all-time and the only one among the ones to which I gave 5,0 that is an actual 5,0. / Favourite tracks: Ants of the Sky, White Walls / True rating: 5,0
Harmonium Les Cinq Saisons
Quebec progressive folk at its best. This album defines where I'm from as a whole. / Favourite track: Histoires sans paroles / True rating: 4,9
The Faceless Planetary Duality
The riffs on this one are simply amazing. I was disappointed Autotheism was so different from this album when it came out. / Favourite tracks: Legion of the Serpent, XenoChrist / True rating: 4,8

4.5 superb
Alcest Écailles De Lune
The album that made me like both black metal, and blackgaze. / Favourite tracks: Ecailles de Lune / True rating: 4,3
Between the Buried and Me The Parallax II: Future Sequence
AOTY 2012. I discovered BTBAM with The Parallax EP (yeah, right, what the fuck?) so this is the first BTBAM record that I had to wait for. I was really excited about it being a sequel to the EP and it truly delivered. / Favourite tracks: Silent Flight Parliament, Melting City / True rating: 4,7
Deafheaven Sunbather
My new definition of blackgaze. / Favourite tracks: Dream House, The Pecan Tree / True rating: 4,3
Porcupine Tree In Absentia
This is album has it all, except a stellar 10+ minutes progressive journey like all the other major PT albums have. UTD had Burning Sky, TSMS had the title tracks, Signify had Dark Matter, LBS had Russia on Ice, DW has Arriving..., FOABP has Anesthetize, TI has Time Flies. Still a remarquable album though, even if some of the tracks have a pop vibe (Trains, Sound of Muzak, Blackest Eyes). / Favourite tracks: Prodigal, Heartattack in a Layby / True rating: 4,6
Porcupine Tree Deadwing
My favourite Porcupine Tree's album and, considering their whole discography and how I enjoy (almost) all the albums, this is something. / Favourite track: Arriving Somewhere But Not Here / True rating: 4,7
Protest the Hero Kezia
Saw the album live a couple of days ago for the Kezia X tour. One of the best show I had the chance to see. Rody was hilarious as always and it was good to see Arif and Moe for the first time. Pits were insane, I got headbutted in the face during Bury the Hatchet, it was bleeding like hell but it was all fair. / Favourite track: Blindfolds Aside / True rating: 4,4
Protest the Hero Fortress
Discovered the band with this album so it brings this nostalgic feeling every time I give it a go. Only slightly better than Kezia. / Favourite tracks: Sequoia Throne, Spoils
Steven Wilson Hand. Cannot. Erase.
AOTY 2015. Porcupine Tree was one of my favourite bands but I was having a hard time enjoying Wilson's other projects as much as I enjoyed PT's albums. This one is different, definitely one of my favourite albums from him, up there with Deadwing, In Absentia and the likes. / Favourite track: Ancestral / True rating: 4,7
Trivium Ascendancy
I wish I would have listened to this in 2005 instead of Metallica and Billy Talent. / Favourite tracks: Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr, A Gunshot to the Head of Trepidation / True rating: 4,6

4.0 excellent
Alcest Souvenirs D'Un Autre Monde
Title track has to be one the most soothing track ever made. / Favourite track: Souvenirs d'un autre monde / True rating: 4,1
Between the Buried and Me Alaska
I'm way more attracted towards modern proggy space adventures. / Favourite tracks: Backwards Marathon, Selkies: The Endless Obsession / True rating: 3,8
Between the Buried and Me The Great Misdirect
It tries too hard to be Colors II but fails. / Favourite tracks: Obfuscation, Swim to the Moon / True rating: 3,8
Between the Buried and Me The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues
I had to wait about half an hour for my bus. I entered the Archambault (Quebec music/movie/book store) right behind the bus stop. I was strolling in the aisles, not searching for anything in particular. The only thing I really wanted was for these 30 minutes to pass so I go back home. But then it struck me. For some reason, the cover of the EP asked me to pick it up. I didn't know at all what it was except that it was classified as 'metal' by Archambault personnel that normally know nothing about all that is not french radio-friendly songs. So I bought it and here we are, 4 years later. I still listen to this album from times to times but BTBAM as a whole grew to become one of my favourite albums. I listen to their music on a daily basis. All thanks to those mysterious atomic flies on the cover of The Parallax. / Favourite tracks: Specular Reflection / True rating: 3,9
Between the Buried and Me Coma Ecliptic
Was I expecting The Parallax III or Colors II? Yeah. Was I expecting an album to at least sounded like what BTBAM did in the past? Yeah. Did I get that? Not at all. Is it good anyway? Fuck yeah. / Favourite track: King Redeem / Queen Serene / True rating: 4,2
Harmonium Harmonium
The eponym debut album by proggresive folk master Serge Fiori. It is basically an hymn to the province of Quebec. / Favourite tracks: Un musicien parmi tant d'autres, Harmonium / True rating: 4,0
Harmonium L'heptade
Way more psychedelic and progressive than the previous album, which isn't a bad thing in itself, but there are some parts that are less refined and less enjoyable. / Favourite track: Le premier ciel / True rating: 4,2
Porcupine Tree Signify
Unique ambiance for a Porcupine Tree's album. No track really stand out to me but the album is excellent as a whole. / Favourite track: Waiting / True rating: 4,2
Porcupine Tree Stupid Dream
Would have been 4,3 or 4,4 if the full version of Even Less would have taken the place of the short version of Even Less and Piano Lessons. / Favourite tracks: A Smart Kid, Even Less / True rating: 4,0
Porcupine Tree Up the Downstair
I have absolutely no clue why I like this album so much. It just flows so well. / Favourite tracks: Fadeaway, Synesthesia / True rating: 4,0
Porcupine Tree The Sky Moves Sideways
Modern Pink Floyd. / Favourite track: The Sky Moves Sideways (Phase One) / True rating: 3,9
Porcupine Tree Fear of a Blank Planet
The last excellent album of Wilson until Hand. Cannot. Erase. Thank god for Hand. Cannot. Erase., the wait was un-fucking-bearable. / Favourite track: Anesthetize / True rating: 4,0
Porcupine Tree Nil Recurring
It's a EP made of B-sides and it still is better than most bands LPs. / Favourite track: Normal / True rating: 3,8
Protest the Hero Volition
A big step forward from Scurrilous but still a let down compared to Fortress and Kezia. Moe is missed on drums. / Favourite tracks: Yellow Teeth, Mist / True rating: 4,0
The Dillinger Escape Plan Miss Machine
I understand that Calculating Infinity defined the mathcore movement but, to me, Miss Machine is more refined version of their brutal and unpolished debut album. / Favourite tracks: Baby's First Coffin, Setting Fire to Sleeping Giants / True rating: 4,1

3.5 great
Alcest Les Voyages De L'Âme
Huge deception after the other two albums. / Favourite track: Autre temps / True rating: 3,4
Porcupine Tree Lightbulb Sun
Heartbreaking. / Favourite track: Russia on Ice / True rating: 3,6
Porcupine Tree The Incident
Big letdown. Some parts are so long and never deliver. / Favourite tracks: Time Flies, I Drive the Hearse / True rating: 3,5
Protest the Hero Scurrilous
Favourite tracks: Tongue-Splitter, The Reign of Unending Terror / True rating: 3,6
Steven Wilson The Raven That Refused to Sing (And Other Stories)
Nice old prog vibe. / Favourite track: Drive Home / True rating: 3,5
The Dillinger Escape Plan Calculating Infinity
Favourite tracks: The Running Board, Clip the Apex...Accept Instruction / True rating: 3,7
The Dillinger Escape Plan Option Paralysis
Favourite track: Farewell, Mona Lisa / True rating: 3,7
The Dillinger Escape Plan One of Us Is the Killer
Favourite tracks: Nothing's Funny, One of Us Is the Killer / True rating: 3,4

3.0 good
Between the Buried and Me Between the Buried and Me
Favourite track: Aspirations / True rating: 2,8
Between the Buried and Me The Silent Circus
Favourite tracks: Ad a Dglgmut, Mordecai / True rating: 3,2

Porcupine Tree On the Sunday of Life
Favourite tracks: Nine Cats, Radioactive Toy / True rating: 2,7
Protest the Hero A Calculated Use of Sound
Favourite track: Led Astray / True rating: 2,4
The Dillinger Escape Plan Ire Works
