Bring Me The Horizon Count Your Blessings |
As far as deathcore goes, the most inventive material is that which pulls from the "death" half of its name, rather than the core. This album does that in a way that is dark, fast, and heavy, but nevertheless contemporary to its time. This is some of the best deathcore out there, but it is still by no means a masterpiece. |

Fall Out Boy From Under the Cork Tree |
Knuckle Puck While I Stay Secluded |
While this album is probably one of the most aggressive and powerful pop-punk releases to come out
in the last ten years, it is still heavily tied to the year it was released. The vocalist is outstanding, but
he can only redeem the recycled instrumentation so much before something is left to be desired. Very
fun, though. |
