| This band has a history of being so mind numbingly boring, even when they had a more impactful name and were releasing music marginally worthy of merit, I still managed to fall asleep at one of their festival performances. That fact may have been the consequence of a possible TBI from an earlier group performing, mind you, but the scenario still reflects upon Preoccupations' ability to "excite" when performing at their absolute best. What could be said, then, about them at their worst, or, perhaps of greatest concern, their most lukewarm of states? Well, if this album is of any indication, the group formerly known as Viet Cong remains wholly incompetent in regards to providing something compelling for their listeners. |
