I know this well because it must be 30 years since I listened to these tracks, or many of them, and they still are fresh ion my memory.David Bowie The Next Day ExtraInteresting additional oddities, but understandable they were left off the main CD. 2.5 averageDavid Bowie Black Tie White NoiseWell, I was brought back to an intense interest in David Bowie after almost 30 years by finally listening to The Next Day every day for about a month, and finding it expanding with each listen... and then starting a slow return of renewing what I loved in Bowie, which was almost everything he did from say Laughing Gnome to Let's Dance, and nothing afterward. I came acriss a couple of used copies of this one, and although I did buy it when it first was released in the early 1990s, I found I couldn't remember a thing about the sound of it, not one sound. So here I am, Bowie's not quite dead, great to have him back, but what was he thinking for year after year, decade after decade up to, say... Heathen? That's what I'm looking at, Citizen Kane style. :D
