I think what devournment does really, really well is transitioning in a song. The riffs can be cheesy and sometimes predictable, but you never know what the next part is gonna be, keeping it enticing and fun. Keeping the "oh shit" factor high will always make their albums stand out in the field.Pro tip: pump the 1KHz on the equalizer to let the guitars stand out a little.
