The music is upbeat and fresh with some really positive messages. I particularly like his emphasis on wanting God to use his music and that it's not about his own personal fame. He generally stays away from cliches and his message seems to be a personal one that comes out of his own experience. I always love artists who stay away from the typical love ballad that we hear so much of in Christian music and try to keep it fresh and real ... by and large he does this although the 2nd half of the album is not quite as strong.
