The highlight tracks really carry this. If it weren't for Spread Thin, Three Years, and the title track, it would be a 2.5
EDIT 04/27/23: Just now realizing how dumb this soundoff is. "If it weren't for the best songs on the album, the album would be worse" no shit |

I Prevail TRAUMA
I was a massive fan of their debut album. Of course, being 15 at the time, I've mostly outgrown it
over the years but I still come back to it for nostalgia every now and then. But this, I honestly
don't know what they were thinking. It's not terrible. Like other people are saying, there are
some damn good songs on here, but they're outnumbered by generic lyrics and boring pop melodies. |
I Prevail TRUE POWER
Can't help but feel a bit blue-balled from this. The lead single Body Bag is nuts, and the only other track that goes nearly as hard is Choke.

The Dirty Nil Master Volume
I see a lot of potential in these guys. It's obvious they know how to write damn good songs (Super 8, That's What Heaven Feels Like) but struggle with consistency. Also lacks variety.

The Early November The Early November
The National First Two Pages of Frankenstein
The Wonder Years No Closer to Heaven
