John Prine John Prine
This is the about the best thing the genres of country and folk have ever produced, and probably ever will. Masterful songwriting, brutally honest lyrics and a distant Sunday night come together with Prine's warm presence to result in one of the best experiences a person can have.

Megadeth Rust In Peace
Is this a perfect album? No. Is this the best thrash album ever? Quite possibly. Everything works so well together and this album is just 40 minutes of nonstop ass-kicking through absolutely scathing songs and Mustaine's unrelenting barks (which I'm actually quite fond of). Metallica has nothing on RIP.

The Doors' second full-length is very comparable to the first: intense, dark, and all-out cultish, from the wonderful references to Morrison's supposed shaman blood, "Lizard King", and other instances where the booze and acid may have been a bit too much to handle. Morrison's softer vocals have taken a much stronger improvement from the band's debut, but on all other accounts the music is slightly less memorable. However, with the debut being one of the best records of the 60's, falling slightly short of that great achievement still results in a very fantastic and remarkable psychedelic milestone.

What is essentially Dave Grohl's solo album rocks hard consistently and magnificently, with a
fantastic mix of great moments. Each song possesses a spectacular and unique sound, and, despite
the frequent comparisons to fellow band Nirvana, the Foos' debut album is a great representation
of 90's rock music in general: it's ugly, catchy, and, most of all, imperfect. But it's
imperfection helps give it a bit of charisma.

Bring Me The Horizon Suicide Season
A very difficult album to sit through, with very few variation between the monotonous guitar pumps, seemingly directionless drumming and girly screaming, this album marks one of the lowest parts in the band's career filled with uninspired songwriting and a severe lack of motivation to create anything separate from the bloated genre of generic metalcore.

Merzbow Merzbeat
Don't be fooled, Merzbow's take on noise music is that one that should from here on be completely
laughed at. If for some ungodly reason you need to hear something similar to this, merely wander
into your garage and turn on your woodsplitter. This album just sounds like a big woodsplitter.
That's it.
