It is a "dark" record that makes me feel overjoyed for the most part. There are a few clunkers here, but for the most part these guys get it. The "Palms E.P." and this record are both incredible. They then went downhill after this. For me this is a slow-core classic, along with the 1st Red House Painters and Codeines "Frigid Stars" .
