I'm going to talk only about my favorite and its meaning to me.rA gaze blank is definitely my favorite no doubt. To me it feels like that song represents a good life. It starts slow and soft, and begins to progress with harmonies of major chords to a false climax (perhaps meaning becoming and being the high school varsity football captain), and down again to very soft almost as if the person is going through a blank spot, trying to figure out what to do. The 4 little guitar sequences are examples of false positives of that person's progression in life. Then finally it starts going again as if the person found a good paying job and has found a love. Then the snare/cymbal 16th section with the guitars are like everything is going great. Finally there's the last cymbal crash with guitar/electronic clash. That represents a finale almost, age 60 and realizing how great everything went. The trumpet solo going is as if the person is taking time to look back on their life and are happy with what they did. He is happy that everything happened. He found a spouse. He made a living to keep up his family. And now he can die peacefully knowing that he was an impactful human on the earth.rI apologize that this is so extensive BUT if you take the time to read it I'm sure you'll see what I mean.
