I thought this was a jam but when I first heard it I was disappointed it was only like six minutes
long. Then I realised that was the joy of it, that it was a snapshot so small you just had to
repeat it and feel the same as these guys felt belting out these songs, learning to love the songs
intimately so those thirty seconds feel like a lifetime. Also Secret Tunnel is easily worth a
whole point.

There are some solid tracks here. Nonetheless, the album - both in the lyrics and the tracklist - could have been whittled down, to change it from an average record to a great record. Patrick vocals are always on point though.

Sound Vision OK Always Have and Will Be
The vocals are still too low, the ambient songs are neglected this time around and no amount of
post-punk can save what is a poor lo-fi effort overall.

However, Landline and Julie Pt. 2 fulfill potential, and present an actually coherent song and an
intriguing post-punk/ambient hybrid. If Sound Vision OK could craft an album as consistent as
those two songs, they could be going somewhere wonderful.
Sound Vision OK Please Consider Me A Dream
Can't decide if it wants to be lo-fi ambient or lo-fi power pop, but the vocals are too low in the mix to make its power pop distinguishable, and it drags down the actually pleasant ambient section. Wasted potential.
