The Bunny The Bear A Liar Wrote This
Simply put, "A Liar Wrote This" is one of The Bunny The Bear's best offerings. You can tell that Matt Tybor (The Bunny) put his heart and soul into this release. The album features a new Bear, Haley Roback. Roback brings some very interesting and diverse vocals to the album, as well as the band. Her performance on all of the songs is nothing short of amazing, and she shines even more on the brand new songs. To elaborate, this album features re-recorded versions of old demos that The Bunny wrote awhile ago for his old band, as well as several brand new songs. Personally, I enjoyed the new songs more, as I had already heard the first versions of "Curtain Call", "Sleep Sequence", "Somewhat Standards", "Motions", and "It's Not Always Cold In Buffalo."

Overall, this is a solid offering from both Tybor and Roback, and I enjoy the different direction the band is taking.

Highlight songs are: "Empty Hands", "Oblivion", and "Dead Leaves" (my personal favorite of the album.)

Hollywood Undead Day of the Dead
Tonally, this album is all over the place, but that's not exactly uncommon for Hollywood Undead. From their 2008 debut album all the way up to Day Of The Dead, HU's songs vary greatly in both theme and style. Rap, Rock, Pop, Dubstep, and even a bit of Hip-hop punctuate and run through the veins of Day Of The Dead. It's chaotic, it's loud, it's crude, it's outrageous, it's funny, and it's quintessentially Hollywood Undead. If that's what you're looking for, then you're in for a good time.

Highlight songs of the album are: "Does Everybody In The World Have To Die?", "Dark Places", "Save Me", "How We Roll", and "Let Go."
