5.0 classic
King Crimson Red
Every track, even the somewhat indulgent Bela Bartok-inspired 'Providence', hits the mark on this LP. The quickly mutating key signatures of the title track and Bill Bruford's drum tones and playing on 'One More Red Nightmare' leave you gasping for breath already by the time you hear the first strains of 'Starless', one of the greatest and most suspenseful prog-rock epics ever written.
