People an bitch at me all they want for saying that Origin of Symmetry was better than Absolution. But Absolution holds a special place in my heart. Why? Because It introduced me into the glory that is Muse. Tracks like Hysteria, Stockholm Syndrome, Butterflies and Hurricanes, and Time is Running out just gave me shivers down my spine letting me think "how can anybody make this good of music?" There is not one note that I would ignore on this album, it is built to perfection. Stockholm Syndrome's sublime rife ate me up and the heavey ending tore me down, and it literally scared me. But my favorite song ever by Muse is HYSTERIA. from it's pounding distorted bass, to the epic solo, to the ending.
If you don't have this album, one can only wonder why. |
