Cradle of Filth Cruelty and the Beast
Arguably this is Cradle of Filth's most definitive record, is a brilliant output from start to finish. Lyrically, atmospherically and Musically this record is flawless for my taste. The riffs flow at great pace, they have a very unique melody, the drumming is excellent, keyboards are top notch. Maybe the only low point here is the production with doesn't sound as clear as one would like, but is not something that wrong to downgrade this from a 5 rating.
Cradle of Filth Dusk... and Her Embrace
Dusk and Her Embrace is the first classic Cradle of Filth album. There are many key elements that turn this album into a classic. The first one is Dani's voice which in my opinion reached the peak of its career at this point, the we have the great keyboards that help to build the exceptional dark and gothic atmosphere, in the third place we have some of the most memorable riffs the band has offered and a very impressive drumming and last but not least, the instrumentals here are great.

Jeff Buckley Grace
Grace is the definition of what a landmark is, an inmortal album from an inmortal voice. Jeff Buckley's voice is probably one of the greatest gifts music has offered to the world. This album blends so much feelings that sometimes it is impossible not feeling deeply moved by the overall melancholy of its atmosphere. This album is the epitome of alternative rock.
Katatonia Last Fair Deal Gone Down
Katatonia Brave Murder Day
Arguably this is one of the best all-time Metal albums, every detail is placed perfect here and it has this unique atmosphere that is so hard to find in any other album, that even its "flaws" make it even more awesome. The deliver feels so sincere, so honest and this has one of Akerdfeldt's most impressive delivers in the vocal department. An absolute classic and must have.
Kaytranada 99.9%
Lauryn Hill The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill
Mac Miller Circles
Leaving aside the obvious emotional component linked to a posthumous album of a promising and big hearted artist and judging this by its own merits, this is a beautiful record from start to finish, a very intimate deliver from a troubled mind, which at some points feels at peace here. A beautiful and heartfelt epilogue to a very promising career.
Massive Attack Mezzanine
Mastodon Crack the Skye
Megadeth Rust In Peace
This is beyond classic, the zenith of a genre that was beginning to decay and a landmark in music in general. Rust in Peace showcases one of the best guitar works I've ever heard, if not the best of all. The drumming also is truly remarkable, and with songs as Holy Wars, Hangar 18 and Tornado of Souls, its evident that this album is out of this world in terms of riffs, solos, drumming and songwriting in general.

Nas Illmatic
Night Verses From the Gallery of Sleep
Opeth Morningrise
Opeth My Arms, Your Hearse
The whole concept behind this album is beyond great. I love how every song is titled as the last word in the previous song, and the whole cyclic feeling, how the seasons go by and the story itself, everything is just brilliant. Not to mention the musical greatness that sustains this whole concept, the acousitc interludes are brilliant, the production feels ethereal, the guitar tone is impeccable, definetly a classic record.

Pink Floyd Animals
Animals is probably the last of the great and nearly flawless Pink Floyd albums, that's why it has a very special place in my mind and heart. The sound and production are brilliant and the concept is truly remarkable. Dogs is among the best PF tracks in my opinion too. After Wish You Were Here and The Dark Side Of The Moon, this comes really near in terms of greatness. An undeniable landmark.
Pink Floyd The Dark Side Of The Moon
This album is what feelings would sound if we could listen to them, this album is one of the closest definitions of beauty and magic, is so deep that is impossible to not feeling moved by it, is an album that will be discussed relentlessly, is an album that opened the gates to an unexplored world of creativity, it certainly is one of the most iconic milestones of music.

Queens of the Stone Age ...Like Clockwork
Radiohead The Bends
Radiohead OK Computer
Radiohead In Rainbows
With In Rainbows Radiohead added another near classic album to their already impressive discography. Leaving aside almost in a complete proportion their electronic influences, they manage to write the most heart-felt record in my opinion, maybe only comparable to The Bends, another adjective that can describe perfectly this album is "Beautiful". The only weak moment and maybe the only reason this isn't a 5 for me is because of the over long and plain House of Cards.

Amon Amarth With Oden on Our Side
This is one of my favorite Melodeath albums. The production is as perfect as it can be. The viking theme suits the music in a a great way, the vocals are awesome and the riffs are brilliantly written. The closer is probably kind of weak compared to the other tracks, but it is still a great ride. Excellent album in my opinion.
Amon Amarth Twilight of the Thunder God
Amon Amarth continues were they left in their previous release, which certainly was a peak in their career. It was a hard task to top what they achieved with that release but fortunately Twilight of the Thunder God turned out to be just as epic as its predecessor. It is an awesome ride from start to finish, showcasing excellent vocals, strong and consistent riffage and a very marked Viking atmosphere, a mix of elements that give a near perfect result.

In my concept this is Arcturus's magnum opus. This is also probably my favorite keyboard driven album, because the keyboards here are just beyond brilliant. Another aspect I love about this album is Rygg's vocal work, and the contribution made by Ihsahn in Radical Cut. The record has a futuristic vibe and atmosphere, and HellHammer's drumming is tight and consistent, a very high point too. Wonderful release from start to finish.

Cradle of Filth Midian
Midian is a near perfect album, it blends perfectly all that Cradle of Filth knew how to do so well, the grandiose keyboards, Dani's many voices, great riffs, perfectly written lyrics, a very interesting production and a very dark atmosphere. All of these are the key elements for a relentless record.

This album has it all. Great production, awesome atmosphere, grabbing riffs and guitar work, remarkable vocals and excellent keyboard and programming parts. A really outstanding addition in DT's catalogue. Couldn't five it just because of Misery's Crown which I think is the only weak track.
Dark Tranquillity Character
Excellent album from start to finish. It has the perfect blend of melodic and brutal death metal. It also has a unique atmosphere, the guitar work is excellent, with memorable riffs and very tight drumming. This record only has one weak track in my opinion which Is Am I 1? The rest is pretty solid.

Godspeed You! Black Emperor F♯ A♯ ∞
This is probably one of the most complex records I've heard, it is difficult to get into it and it takes some time to grow, it also requires a lot of disposition from the listener. It is composed mainly by a blend of musical grandeur and brilliance and a drone/noise dark landscape atmosphere. I think the music parts here are worth a 5, but my main issue is with the drone and ambient stuff. Excellent record nevertheless.
Godspeed You! Black Emperor Slow Riot For New Zero Kanada
This was a musical eye-opening experience for me, as I was completely blown away by the magnificence of this EP. The way both songs build up is brilliant and their respective climaxes are amongst the best ones I've ever heard. This is beautiful and deep music, if feelings were music I bet they might sound like Moya or BBF3.

The perfect dose of virtuous riffage, face melting solos, and galloping pace. A classic from start to finish
Metallica ...And Justice For All
This is another excellent addition in Metallica's work. Though its production can make it hard to listen at times. It feels very dry, and the bass has little to none prominence to overweight the guitar and drums assault. Other than that it is a great record from start to finish.

Moonspell Under Satanae
It is not a coincidence that Moonspell decided to re-issue their ealry material, just between Memorial and Night Eternal. The statement is clear, they were announcing a dark direction in their musical approach, as it was evidenced in Night Eternal. Musically it is great to hear Moonspell's early work this well produced, as in my opinion almost every song in here is great. Without any doubt this is the band's heaviest and darkest side, it will remain probably in the past, but this is an excellent release.
Moonspell Irreligious
This is Moonspell's best record in my opinion. I think it is an excellent record because it helped to shape a genre (Gothic Metal) it is certainly a reference when it comes to the sound that would develop in the years to follow. The atmosphere is perfect, the songs flow into each other in a very cohesive way, the vocals are improved, taking into account the previous record, the guitar work is great and all the elements blend together here perfectly.
Moonspell The Antidote
This album has everything to please anyone. An excellent and dark atmosphere from start to finish, brilliantly written lyrics, great vocals, outstanding drumming and guitar work and a great balance between atmospheric rock and some death metal elements. The best Moonspell release at the side of Irreligious in my opinion.
Moonspell Memorial
A superb album from start to finish. This is probably Moonspell's heaviest release. It has Fernando Ribeiro's most aggressive singing in all of their career, excellent riffs, a very dark atmosphere, nice orchestral keyboards and some of the best songs in their catalogue.
Moonspell Night Eternal
Moonspell adds another solid release to their already impressive catalogue. With Night Eternal, the band leaves behind their Atmospheric Gothic Rock influences showcased in The Antidote and in some parts of Memorial, to embrace a heavy Black Metal oriented sound. This means, that they?ve never sounded this direct and straightforward in terms of composition before. Night Eternal is heavy, fast and dark. This is probably the best vocal performance of Fernando Ribeiro in my opinion. Also the guitar work is dynamic, with some of the band?s best riffs and with some nice solos here and there. The drumming is excellent and the keyboards are truly outstanding. A superb record from start to finish.
Moonspell Alpha Noir
This record is yet another remarkable addition to Moonspell's discography. I love the concept of the Aplha & Omega parallel. Though in my opinion the Noir side is classic, the white one only have two weak songs. This consistency is what makes of this an awesome release. A thing that grabs my attention is the refinement in the production when it comes to every new Moonspell release. In terms of songwriting this is probably their most straightforward effort, as it can feel plain at times, specially on the Noir side, despite of this fact the album is pretty solid.

Radiohead Hail to the Thief
Hail to the Thief feels like a mix between Radiohead's to critically acclaimed works (OKC and Kid A), though this one is more guitar driven it still incorporates electronic sounds here and there. Also they went for a more direct songwriting approach here, resulting in great results. The main issues Hail to the Thief has is that it feels longer than it should be and some songs add nothing to the album as a whole (Backdrifts, A Punch at a Wedding and The Gloaming) but it still has plenty of fun for one to pick.
Radiohead Amnesiac
Amnesiac excells in every aspect that I felt Kid A was weak, I think there's more cohesion here. This album flows extremely well, and I feel it is way better as a whole than its predecessor. Maybe the only weak track here is Pulk/Pull. I can think in at least five perfect tracks here (Pyramid Song, You and Whose Army?, Knives Out, Morning Bell/Amnesiac and Life In a Glass House) Sadly all the praise went to Amnesiac's brother album Kid A, a mistake in my opinion.

The National Boxer
The only word I can find in this moment to describe my feelings towards Boxer is "Beautiful". This album flows really great, it has so many details, its so delicate, everything sounds so clear, all the tracks are brilliantly accompained by all sorts of instruments without overshadowing the essence of the music itself and the lyrics are completly brilliant. Maybe the only weak moment in my opinion is Squalor Victoria.
The National Alligator
It is really interesting to hear the different atmospheres present in every The National release, every record seems to have something particular that makes it stand different amongst the others. In that sense I consider the best atmosphere in any National album is present here on Alligator. This album is a near perfect record, it has the perfect equilibrium of all the elements that can be found on the band's catalogue. A true masterpiece from start to finish.

That being said it is an excellent album with a very bleak atmosphere

Apocalyptica Reflections
Reflections symbolize a growth in Apocalyptica's career, being a more mature release. The effort and seriousness that this album conveys is palpable, and is big improvement over the band's previous installment. A great feature this album has is the addition of drumms, which add a lot of musical depth to the mix. There is also more melancholic approach to most of the songs, which in my opinion is one of the most important feelings that a cello must evoke. Excellent album
Apocalyptica Apocalyptica
Apocalyptica's self titled record is probably their most mature one, and also in my opinion their best. Here they blend perfectly the beauty of the cello melodies with a more aggressive sound, plus they begin to officially include vocals to a couple of tracks. An addition that works great in Bittersweet but not that much in Life Burns, which is this album weakest track. The drumming is excellent in this record too.

Cradle of Filth The Principle of Evil Made Flesh
The Principle of Evil Made Flesh is a very solid debut album, with some of the most iconic CoF songs. Here is possible to identify the clear Black Metal influences, with some Gothic sparks, which add to the general atmosphere of the album. They keyboards are probably the most remarkable aspect of this record for me, thouh the riffs don't fell short too. This is an excellent record, but not Cradle's best for my taste.
Cradle of Filth Vempire, Dark Faerytales in Phallustein
This EP is a nice progression in terms of sound quality and production, from what we heard in The Principle of Evil Made Flesh, the pace is even faster and the songs are greatly build, this version of the Forest Whispers My Name is even better than the original and Queen of Winter Throned is probably amongst Cradle's best tracks.
Cradle of Filth Hammer of the Witches
I couldn't help the feeling of shivers down my spine when I first heard this record. Cradle of Filth has always been one of my favorite bands, but somehow I was really losing my hope in them after that strike of weak releases beginning with Damnation up through The Manticore, but then I decided to catch up and give them an opportunity with this one, and it blew me away from start to finish. This is one of the most rewarding listens I have had in a long time. A serious contender for album of the year and a very welcome comeback from one of the most divisive bands out there.

The songs I didn't enjoy that much were I, deception and the closer track, the rest are awesome tracks.

Godspeed You! Black Emperor Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven
Although this album flows in the same innovative and experimental vein as its predecessor, it feels very different in terms of atmosphere and ambience. In my opinion this focus a lot more on the music itself than on the amient-driven soundscapes of F#A#. This has what in my concept is GY!BE's best song, which is the masterpiece "Sleep". Excellent album.

An incredible exploration on black heritage. Certainly an album that still feels as relevant today as the day it was released.
Kendrick Lamar Section.80
Kendrick Lamar's debut record Section.80 is his best work in my opinion, even if the production here is not as great as it was going to be in later records, this has a collection of his best work until this date, the beats are great, the low key vibe, his vocal performance and the lyrics makes this an excellent release. An enjoyable experience from start to finish.

Lamb of God Ashes of the Wake
This album is an excellent album on so many levels, the first and most important of them being the amazing guitarwork it has from start to finish, this has plenty of memorable riffs and melodies. The second aspect is that the vocals are really great and strong, they totally support the heaviness of the music. The third level that makes turns this into an excellent album is the drumming, which is truly outstanding, tight and technical. Last but no least we have a perfect production responsible of blending the aforementioned levels into a perfect mix.

Lamb of God Sacrament
Lamb of God Resolution
Lana Del Rey Norman Fucking Rockwell!
Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin III
Though this album has two of my favorite Led Zeppelin tracks (Since I've Been Loving You and Celebration Day) I don't find it quite as compelling as its predecessors and some of its successors, I think the folkier approach is really awesome and well done, it has a very special atmosphere, but tracks like Hats Off and Out of the Tiles seem a little weak for me.
Led Zeppelin Physical Graffiti
Lenny Kravitz Greatest Hits
This a great compilation, I think it summarizes really well Lenny's career till that point, blending some of his most well known ballads with some of his rockier and groovier stuff. Again is also probably one of the best songs of the 2000's. Despite this it has some weak tracks, Black Velveteen being one of them.

The riffs are great and the solos are awesome too. I didn't enjoyed that much Wake Up Dead and I Ain't Superstitious, aside from this tracks the album is excellent all in all.

Melvins Hostile Ambient Takeover
Mercury Rev Deserter's Songs
Metallica Metallica
This is arguably the last excellent Metallica record, but despite this fact. It is where the downward trend began, where the flaws began to be more noticeable. Songs like Wherever I May Roam, Don't Tread On Me and Of Wolf and Man, are examples that the songwriting became more radio friendly and plain in compositional terms.

Moonspell Sin / Pecado
This album marks a turning point in Moonspell's sound, leaving behind the Black/Gothic Metal elements of the two previous records, to embrace a more Electronic Rock sound. Though it is a drastic change, it sounds completely outstanding in my opinion. The album has a very unique atmosphere, with the most prominent element being the keyboards, which sound particularly good here. There are also some nice solos here and there. Overall an excellent record, with many songs to please the listener.
Moonspell Wolfheart
An Excellent debut in my opinion. This record has a very dark atmosphere, flirting with Black, Gothic and Folk Metal and blending this genres into a unique product. It has memorable tracks such as An Erotic Alchemy, Wolfshade and Vampiria.

Radiohead Kid A
Kid A finds Radiohead pushing their musical boundaries even further after their acclaimed OK Computer. The results here are divisive, in the sense that sometimes they seem to reach perfection (Everything in Its Right Place, How to Disappear Completely, Optimistic) but some other times this feels like a disjointed mess (Kid A, The National Anthem, Idioteque), making this really hard to digest. Despite this the great moments compensate with great punch for the weak ones.
Radiohead The King of Limbs
The King of Limbs sees Radiohead returning to their electronic influences, but without totally leaving out their instrumental side. I really dig more guitar-driven Radiohead, though the results here are quite good, with the exception of a pair of tracks (Bloom and Feral) which fail to grab my attention. One thing I really like about this record is that it evokes a feeling of connection with sounds of nature. All in all, this is another great addition in an already classic catalogue.

The National Trouble Will Find Me
An excellent record from start to finish, though it is not a flawless one. This album has an eerie and melancholic atmosphere, production is brilliant and the sogwriting is top notch, best tracks in here are Fireproof and Humiliation. On the other side a couple of songs suffer from their own intricacy and they feel plain at times, such is the case with Slipped. Excellent record nevertheless
The National High Violet
This album is quite an excellent experience since its very first seconds, and it really evokes deep sensations and feelings from start to finish, I really love Anyone's Ghost and Afraid of Everyone, I also like the build up formula they use in most of the songs. My only issue is that some songs feel boring and plain sometimes such as Little Faith or Blodbuzz Ohio.
The National Sad Songs for Dirty Lovers
I've been listening The National's discography in retrospective, so I started with Trouble Will Find Me and now I'm here. Based in all I've read about this band I thought that passing from Alligator to this album was going to be difficult, as I was expecting this to be a drop in quality from what I had heard so far, but I'm really glad to see that this is another superb record from a superb band. Totally engaging from start to finish.

Tristania Widow's Weeds
This is how Gothic Metal should be done in my opinion. To bad that it is one of the few great records of the sub-genre. It has the perfect balance between harsh and female vocals, also the symphonic elements are greatly used from start to finish. An excellent record overall

Yngwie Malmsteen Concerto Suite for Electric Guitar and Orchestra
Electric guitar plus a full orchestra? That's a risky combination if it is not executed properly, but that's not the case here, as this album is a great modern tribute to classical music, the compositions are great here, sometimes they sound majestic, some other they sound subtle and appropriate. Malmsteen's virtuosity is out of discussion in this record too. In resume, if you like classical music then you'll probably enjoy this record.

Apocalyptica Cult
Cult constitutes Apocalyptica's first effort in composing their own material, leaving aside (not totally) the covers formula, which brought them to the radar of the metal community. They begin to establish their stile which strives between melodic and emotional pieces and aggressive cello riffage. The album succeeds mainly because of the effort put into creating an original sound with an instrument often associated to other genres, not metal.

Cradle of Filth Bitter Suites to Succubi
A good EP all in all. its flaws deal mostly with the production which is not as good as the rest of their work.
Cradle of Filth Damnation and a Day
Damnation and a Day is a great record, though it is certainlly weaker than its predecessors. Despite the fact of being a couple of steps down than previous releases this album still manages to add great songs to Cradle's catalogue, sometimes it feels a bit long, but there are nice things to remark here, such as the variety of the songs and the orchestation. The production is one of the aspects that diminish the rating for me, but still a nice record.
Cradle of Filth Thornography
I really see Tornography as a step forward compared to Nymphetamine, this album has great guitar work with very solid riffing, I also find it very well produced, the instrumental is really great and it has some great songs. A very consistent record all in all very heavy and straightforward.
Cradle of Filth Godspeed on the Devil's Thunder
Cradle of Filth's most bombastic and theatrical offering is often met with very harsh criticism, which in my opinion often is directed towards the band and not towards the music per se. Judging it by the music, this can't be compared with Cradle's best work, but that doesn't mean this is a bad record. It has probably the best orchestation i've heard in a CoF record, very strong riffs and its concept is very interesting and outstandingly written. The main problem is that some of the songs in here fall in cheesy domains, and some of the choruses are really weak, but in resume this is a very enjoyable record.

Opts for a more instrumental approach, leaving aside field recordings and many of the ambient/drone elements showcased in their previous records, this is something that in my opinion sacrifices the magic those releases had, because even if this has brilliant moments, once this is finished I get the feeling that something's lacking. Metallica Death Magnetic
Certainly a step in the right direction since Load and St. Anger. I find the first half with a couple of songs from the second one, to be really brilliant, until The Judas Kiss appears, in that moment the brilliance begins to decrease progressivley. I find the production here absolutly annoying with that distortion and crisp that all the tracks have, maybe this would be slighly better with a better work from the production department.
Metallica Load
It is obvious that if this album is judged looking back in Metallica's catalogue, this is going to feel like a let down. But if instead it is judged only by its content, I think this has many enjoyable moments and positive aspects, such as the production, the riffs, and the rockier approach of the songwriting. In my opinion though this is far from reaching the technical level that Metallica always showcased, it is a nice effort, and it should be judged that way.
Metallica Kill 'Em All
This is a great debut album, but it certainly isn't as consistent as its successors. The first half is awesome but this feeling begins to decrease when Anesthesia starts, it becomes a little repetitive, except for Seek and Destroy which is one of the best Metallica's songs.

Moonspell Extinct
This is a good album in my opinion, though it lacks some of the great atmospheric elements Moonspell are so well known for. The choruses feel cheesy at times, and the music is kind of upbeat. On the other side, the production is impeccable, Fernando's vocals are as great as they've ever been, and there are some very nice tracks. I also like that the bass is very audible in the mix.
Moonspell Darkness And Hope
I consider this a transitional album in Moonspell's career between their flirtation with
electronic and industrial metal and their mellow rockier sound. This has great songs and momments,
and finds Fernando Ribeiro's vocals improving. Unfortunately one side of this record is excellent,
but then when the second half strikes in, it begans to fall appart from that point on, with the
exception of the album's closer which is a nice tune. Definetly an improvement over The Butterfly
Effect, but still far from their peak, which would came with The Antidote.

Titan is an great record if its judged on its own, that explains my rating, but Sepctiflesh are beginning to feel repetitive from one record to the other. It is absolutley true that they discovered an excellent formula, and that they are probably the best band doing what they do, but that doesn't mean that they should play it safe on every record they do, because for me even if Titan is great and epic just as its two predecessors, it doesn't break any new ground for the band's sound. Communion, The Great Mass and Titan could have been released in any order and you wouldn't feel the difference in the sound progression and that's my main concern towards this album. Aside from that it is quite dense in terms of sound and requires a lot of the listener, because is very difficult to reach the end with the same energy with which one starts to listen.

Compared to their previous record, this is really a step forward for the band in terms of songwriting, production and maturity. Many consider this as the band's peak, though in my opinion the album feels kind of repetitive at moments. A thing I really dig about this one is the dark atmosphere it has from start to finish, and the consistency of the band is another admirable aspect.

Yngwie Malmsteen Angels Of Love
This acoustic driven instrumental record, takes some of Yngwie Malmsteen's most known tracks and finds them rearranged in a pleasant way, also a new song is exposed with nice results. All in all is a nice and soft record that pleases people into relaxed compositions. My main issue here is that some of the tracks drag a lot and probably if they were shortened would have had better results for my taste, but nevertheless this is a very enjoyable album.

Anathema The Silent Enigma
Anathema's Silent Enigma is a good album, that would have been better if some songs were shortened in lenght, some of them drag to much, and that is the main reason why this album feels kind of boring at times. On the other hand the atmosphere is bleak as one can always expect from Anathema's early work, which something good, and there are some fine moments, such as the title track and A Dying Wish.
Anna von Hausswolff All Thoughts Fly
Apocalyptica Worlds Collide
In this record Apocalytica chooses a more commercial approach, something that in my opinion jeopardizes their intricate style. Also, there are more vocal contributions to the songs, leaving aside the instrumental prowess that the band has always showcased in the path. The instrumental side of this record is quite remarkable, but the tracks with vocals on them affect the final result.

Cradle of Filth Nymphetamine
Cradle of Filth pursuits a more melodic approach in this record, leading in my opinion to one of the weakest outputs in their career. Though this album has some really good tracks it has a very flawed mid-section, with some boring songs. Probably the last tracks along with Nemesis are the best tracks in here. I also think that the instrumentals in here are amongst Cradle's weakest ones.
Cradle of Filth Darkly, Darkly, Venus Aversa
Cradle of Filth's songwriting begins to feel formulaic and repetitive at this point, most of the songs have the same core ideas, the female singer feels bored and uninterested and the concept here is not as interesting as usual Cradle's writting. On the other side, this has some nice songs such as The Cult of Venus Aversa or the album closer. All in all this is another weak outing in the band's discography.
Cradle of Filth The Manticore and Other Horrors
The Manticore and Other Horrors sees Cradle of Filth pointing in a more straightforward direction, with less bombastic orchestal arrangements than its predecessors and with a less identifiable atmosphere. Instrumental tracks always were a strong point in Cradle's compositions, but here they feel unnatural. On the other side some of the songs feel boring and repetitive, plus the fact that I totally hate Lucy Atkins in the female vocals. Despite of the aforementioned aspects this record certainly offers some nice tracks and it feels in some points like a step in the right direction.

Though this and Load are like Siamese twins, this one feels a bit more uninspired and repetitive than its predecessor. It is incredible to see how weak this band started and where they went from here. Although this is not a completely bad album it is certainly far away from being an excellent one. In my opinion it strives between average and good. It has 3 awesome tracks in my opinion (You, Creep and Blow Out) The rest have nothing really outstanding and some of them are very bad.

Anathema Serenades
Anathema's debut album is an interesting one, it certainly has some great moments and ideas, though their execution is not that good in my opinion, some tracks are boring and drag a lot (Lovelorn Rhapsody, They Will Always Die, Under a Veil), some others are effective and grabbing (Sweet Tears, Sleepless, Sleep in Sanity) but in resume this is a hit and miss record for my taste.

Cradle of Filth From the Cradle to Enslave
This is a pretty mediocre EP, with 3 covers, a very weak remake of a great song, and one not so good original track. Practically the only remarkable track here is obviously the title track, which is the main reason I rate this with a 2.5, because it is a pretty excellent and classic Cradle of Filth song, aside from that, this is very poor.

This is obviously the lowest point in Metallica's career. It is the definition of what average mean, nothing extremely terrible but also nothing great. The worst aspect of this record is the production, though the concept of a raw approach seems interesting, the execution is very poor, another annoying element is the Drum sound. The record has some nice ideas but they fail in the end mainly due to the direction the band chose to follow on this album.

The National The National
It is incredible that an excellent band as The National had such a poor debut as this one, but what's more incredible is the huge leap forward they took from here to their next record. This is a bad record on so many levels, the production is terrible in some tracks, I'm not quite fond of its country influences and the overall feeling I get is of boredom, some songs go nowhere. Despite this there are a couple tracks I really dig and in the case of "Son" I think is one of the top 15 The National tracks.

Moonspell The Butterfly Effect
Without any doubt, this is Moonspell's worst album, and in my concept the only failure in their career. In this release they aim for a more experimental and electronic driven influnce, but the result isn't as compelling as the one evidenced in the predecessor Sin/Pecado. There are very few tracks to enjoy in this experiment and in resume this is a quite forgettable effort.

Bar Sachiko is one of those musical experiences you really want to forget, but that annoying beep can haunt the listener long time after he hits the stop button in the media player. This is the most pointless example of "music", there's nothing in here, no emotion from the artist, the only emotions are those that arise from the exposure to this awful record. And my main emotion is from stress and anger after hearing this.
