A little history...rThe song 'Diabolus Absconditus' was released on the 'Crushing the Holy Trinity' compilation in 2005. It was reissued in 2011 accompanied by 'Mass Grave Aesthetics', another song from the same year, which was originally released on the 'From the Entrails to the Dirt' split. Along with the 'Kenose' EP (ALSO from 2005) these tracks are essential DsO listening as they bridge the gap between 'Si Monumentum Requires, Circumspice' and their later work beginning with 'Fas - Ite, Maledicti, In Ignem Aeternum'. This album is routinely mistaken by fans as material that followed 'Paracletus' but it is, actually, older DsO material that saw a proper release instead of only existing on two obscure and out of print compilations.r |
