Blue Stahli The Devil
While I really enjoyed this album and it expands on some of the ideas and sounds of the previous album, it lacks some energy and rawness. Everyone once and a while it just misses the mark, whether it's the lack of screaming vocals, glossy production, occasionally bland lyrics, or a combination of the above. Standout Tracks: Enemy, Shoot Em Up, Demon. Weak Tracks: Rockstar, You'll Get What's Coming.

Dog Fashion Disco Sweet Nothings
Sweet Nothings is a damn awesome reunion album. The only real drawback is the mixing and mastering at times. SN doesn't sound as clear or precise compared to the previous DFD and PDot albums. Also, some of the filters and distortion applied to Todd's vocals on certain tracks really muddy the mix.
Dog Fashion Disco Ad Nauseam
Ad Nauseam is about on par with Sweet Nothings, but thankfully the mixing/mastering is slightly
better. Standout Tracks: Golden Mirage, Baby Bones, Starving Artist. Weak Tracks: Only The
Haunted, Lotion On Its Skin. |
