Bleeding Through Declaration
Blue Stahli The Devil
After a few listens, those songs, that I didn't knew what to think of them, grew up on me and
became a nice addition to this great album. Even if lyrically this album isn't the best one, the
music, the vocals, the energy is what stands out here. Trully a drug in musical form. (in a good
way)
That's my personal opinion, I just needed my Blue Stahli's fix.)
Clutch Earth Rocker
One of the best albums of 2013 and my personal favourite. Vocals, lyrics and instrumentals are perfect. Every track is good, and non of them are filler. Clutch know how to make a perfect rock record.
David Bowie Blackstar
David Bowie haven't made just a good album, but a perfect goodbye to his fans and those who were at least interested in his music. Rock In Peace and thank you for everything.
Fear Factory Obsolete
This is the best Fear Factory album after Demanufacture. Concept of Demanufacture, Obsolete
and Digimortal is awesome and the execution of it hasn't failed to deliver a masterpiece.
Make no mistake:this heavy filler-free industrial metal record is a total must-buy.
Fear Factory Demanufacture
In Flames Whoracle
Once upon a time in Sweden, when In Flames weren't making awful music, they used to do a great melodic death
metal. Anders's vocals are awesome here, this is his best vocal performance in IF's career. The instrumentals are
concentrated on melody and they are great. The songwriting is perfect. Every song on this album feels soulful and
interesting. From "Jotun" to "Whoracle" it is a filler-free ride to the land of awesome melodeath. Their cover of
Depeche Mode's "Everything Counts" is also noteworthy, because it's one of the best covers of any DM song I've
heard. Best In Flames album in both pre-Clayman era and their whole career. Well done, In Flames.
Johnny Cash American IV: The Man Comes Around
Best American Recordings-era album that Johnny Cash has ever made. I still cry when I listen to his cover of NIN's "Hurt", because a) it's one of the best covers in the world and b) because the man who did this cover died. "Give My Love To Rose" is great song too and so do others. R.I.P Johnny Cash, we will never forget you.

Soundtrack (Video Game) Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number Official Soundtrack
It's no secret that Hotline Miami 2 is somewhere worse and somewhere better than the first one, but both games have one thing in common: their soundtracks are amazing.
Strapping Young Lad City
Sully Erna Avalon
Sully Erna has been always a great vocalist since I became a fan of Godsmack, but this is
nothing like Godsmack. While it's lighter than Godsmack, it's a soulful, brilliant record
with brilliant everything:vocals, instumentals, lyrics and soul that was put into it.
Totally must-buy.
Wolfheart Winterborn
Talk about great comebacks. As a big time Tuomas Saukkonen fan, I was saddened by news, that Tuomas has
disbanded Before The Dawn, Black Sun Aeon and his other bands, but this new album proves that he doesn't need to
do BtD or BSA albums to be awesome and great. Hell, he doesn't needs to have a single band member or a famous
producer to create a masterpiece! Every song on this album is soulful, atmospheric and great. Production is great,
vocals are great and everything about this album is great! Best melodeath album of 2013. The only album that is
close to Wolfheart's Winterborn's greatness is Soilwork's The Living Infinite.

It's so amazing how different moods can perfectly fit in one album that is a strong
contender for AotY.
Finish em, Zel.
Hans Zimmer and Benjamin Wallfisch Blade Runner 2049
Just like the movie: it's brilliant and almost perfect.
Hundredth Rare
A melodic hardcore band going soft all of the sudden? That was a bad sign at first, but
the final result is incredible.
Don't know if it's going to be on "Best of 2017" lists, but this work of art is sure as
hell going to be on mine.
Ice Nine Kills The Silver Scream
Very surprised by how actually awesome this album is.
A fun concept, a great execution.

XTRMST XTRMST
A surprisingly great debut of AFI/Blaqk Audio's Davey Havok and Jade Puget's new hardcore punk side-project XTRMST. Davey's never sounded more awesome than before. All of the songs are great, but my personal highlight of this album is Dirty Nails.

An excellent comeback and a very solid return to form. Some tracks have more rock-like

Lifeless (RUS) Insider
One of better Russian music releases. It's beautiful, dark, uneasy and atmospheric. Hope that Lifeless will get more listeners.
Lifeless (RUS) Everyman
Lifeless (RUS) Mea Culpa
Linkin Park The Hunting Party
The only pros here are change in direction (which I respect), Chester's vocals and Rob's
drum play. Everything else just feels hollow and boring. Definitely, a dissapointment.
Marilyn Manson The Pale Emperor
Marilyn Manson Heaven Upside Down
This and The Pale Emperor are his best works since Holy Wood.rKill4Me is a very catchy song, won't be surprised if it will get a music video sooner or later.
Mike Shinoda and Joseph Trapanese The Raid: Redemption
A great soundtrack to the solid action film. Fits in pretty well.
Motionless in White Infamous
Deluxe version of ''Infamous'' is a lot better than original version (which wasn't awful, btw. I give it 3.0), and I really hope that MIW's next record will be as good as this and Creatures.
Mudvayne L.D. 50
Muse Absolution
Muse Origin of Symmetry
Red (USA) Of Beauty and Rage
Both angry and beautiful, Of Beauty And Rage definitely lives up to its name.

A solid gothic synth-rock record, you should give it a try.
The Birthday Massacre Pins and Needles
The Birthday Massacre Walking With Strangers

The Plot In You Happiness in Self Destruction
Easily their best album (at least, for now), that was worth the wait.
Thy Art Is Murder Hate
Underoath Ø (Disambiguation)
I have to admit: as one who heavily disliked TOCS, I enjoy the hell outta this album. It's heavy, and Spencer's vocals are great here. This band is a perfect example of musical evolution. From death metal/black metal albums to mainstream post-hardcore/emo albums to an interesting metalcore/ambient/post-metal albums to this metalcore/sludge metal effort. In other words: this is great. I owe them an apology.
Viscera (UK) Obsidian
We Butter The Bread With Butter Wieder Geil
Wieder Geil is a good mix of maturity (Goldkinder) and your usual WBTBWB fun (pre-Goldkinder). The only cons here are some wackiness on Thug Life and the fact that this album is too short. If you don't have issues with those two problems, then I recommend this album to you.

Carnifex Die Without Hope
Knowing Carnifex by their earlier releases that just aren't my cup of tea (The same problem with Chelsea Grin), I would have predicted that Die Without Hope won't be an exception. And now, I am glad that I was wrong, because this album is a major step forward for a band. It may not reinvent deathcore, but it does reinvent Carnifex.

Emmure Look At Yourself
I find it kinda strange that after this whole lineup drama, Frankie came back with a new lineup
and now the band is stronger than they ever were. This album is bloody fun and now I can honestly
say that I enjoy Emmure. Hope that they will continue with this direction.
Falling in Reverse Coming Home
Fear Factory The Industrialist
Fear Factory Mechanize
Ghostkid HOLLYWOOD SUICIDE
In Flames The Tokyo Showdown
In Flames Come Clarity
The best In Flames album in post-Clayman era. While it's not as heavy as their pre-Clayman albums, it's still pretty hardhitting. Both heavy and melodic, Come Clarity proves that In Flames can still do a good album. My personal highlights here are:Take This Life, Come Clarity and Dead End.
Killswitch Engage Disarm the Descent
A great comeback of Killswitch Engage with Jesse Leach. They made a good mix of agressivness of "Alive Or Just Breathing" and melody of Howard Jones-era KsE records. Definitely, one of the best metalcore records of 2013.
Limp Bizkit Significant Other
Linkin Park A Thousand Suns
When I fiirst heard this album, I thought it was pretty weak album, but as the time passed, I listened to ATS and started to enjoy it. And now I can honestly say that this album is one of the best LP records out there, if not the best.rThe way it flows from one track to another makes me feel like this is some kind of movie. And that movie is solid.
Linkin Park Reanimation
Motionless in White Reincarnate
While it's not as shocking as Infamous, it's still a good album. Chris's clean vocals are presented there more often than previous MIW releases, and they definitely improved. Instrumentals are good, and Josh's synths are really great. Lyrics are rgood, and it's worth noting that the use of "f-bombs" is significantly lower than on Infamous. Guest appearances are not bad, but nothing special. (Except for Dani Filth, his singing on "Puppets 3" is awesome.) "Wasp" is the longest song on this album and, also, it is the softest. But it's really good. Some nu-metal elements on "Generation Lost" are strange but good, and Combichrist-esque "Final Dictvm" is quite a shocker (in a good way). MIW have really matured since The Whorror days, and this album proves it. Not everyone will like Reincarnate, but, personally for me, this album is really good. Not perfect, but good.
Motionless in White Graveyard Shift
Motionless in White Disguise
MiW are moving more into nu-metal/alt-metal territory here, but it's still solid enough.
Thoughts & Prayers and Undead Ahead 2 rip hard though. Machine-gun-like instrumentation
during former track's breakdown is amazing.
Muse Black Holes & Revelations
Tasters De Rerum Natura
The Acacia Strain Coma Witch
The Acacia Strain Death Is the Only Mortal
The Acacia Strain Above/Below
The Hell You're Listening To THE HELL
Yeah, its lyrics are cheesy as hell, but they are passable, because The Hell are killing it with in-your-face hardcore/moshcore!rDid I forgot to mention that they released this album for free?
The Plot In You Could You Watch Your Children Burn
One of few "risecore" bands that actually doesn't suck. It doesn't have those cheesy electronics, instead, this album has great vocals and screams, good lyrics, good production, and good instrumentals. And it was done just by one man: Landon Tewers (well except for drums, which were done by Cole Worden).
The Plot In You First Born
Those Who Fear State Of Mind
Thy Art Is Murder / The Acacia Strain / Fit for an Autopsy The Depression Sessions
Traitors Mental State
Traitors Anger Issues
Those guys have only became better with every record they've put out. Tyler is a beast and songs rip hard.
Volumes Happier?
This record definitely sounds like the return of an old friend whom you've missed very much. Myke and Michael's chemistry is fascinating.

All That Remains For We Are Many
All That Remains Madness
Well... at least, it's better than In Flames's Battles, that's for sure.
Avenged Sevenfold Avenged Sevenfold
Chelsea Grin Ashes To Ashes
I know that a lot of people hate Chelsea Grin, because I never liked this band either. So when Ashes To Ashes came out, I was about to bash this album. Instead, I enjoyed it. Alex improved his vocals and songwriting, and the rest of the band did good job. Not great, but good. So far, this is the best Chelsea Grin album to date.
Chelsea Grin Evolve
Electric Callboy Bury Me in Fucking Vegas
I don't know how to feel about this one. On one side, it's an awful album. But on the other side, Eskimo Callboy aren't taking themselves too serious, and they are just a parody of "risecore" bands like Abandon All Ships and Attack Attack!, so I can actually enjoy it. Hell, I would even dance to "Is Anyone Up?".
Fear Factory Digimortal
I Declare War We Are Violent People by Nature
I Declare War Songs for the Sick
King 810 Memoirs of a Murderer
I don't hate King 810 nearly as much as almost
everyone else does. (Maybe it's because I became
more forgiving to nu-metal bands and recent nu-
metalcore releases.)
While this album could be better, but it's not
godawful. (At least for me.)
If you don't expect something revolutionary from
this album, then you'll probably enjoy this album.
If you are, then you can take 1.5 or more from my
score.
Limp Bizkit The Unquestionable Truth - Part I
One of two (three, if Part 2 will ever come out and be good) LB albums that I genuinely enjoy.
Linkin Park Living Things
It's not great, but it's good. Chester's and Mike's vocals are good and so do songs. My favourites here are "Lost In The Echo", "Burn It Down" and "Powerless".
Memphis May Fire Sleepwalking
Motionless in White Creatures
A solid record by a metalcore band that actually tries to innovate their sound, not making another monotonous bullshit.
Muse The Resistance
Muse The 2nd Law
Oceano Ascendants
Of Mice and Men Restoring Force
Sworn In The Death Card
Traitors Night Terrors
Trivium Vengeance Falls
While not as great as "Ascendancy" and "Shogun", "Vengeance Falls" is a good metalcore record, and Matt's vocals are better than any average metalcore band those days.
Upon This Dawning We Are All Sinners
Pretty good mix of styles of pre-Infamous Motionless In White and Betraying The Martyrs.
Winds of Plague The Great Stone War
I can describe this as a bold try to make a concept album.

2.5 average
Chelsea Grin Self Inflicted
That record just makes me sad... It's definitely heavy, but it's not as good as Ashes To Ashes or
Evolve EP. If lyrics were the only aspect of rating musical albums, Self Inflicted would easily be
the worst album of the year. (Given that Attila and Emmure probably won't release their albums in
2016)
Fortunately, some tracks are good (Skin Deep, Scratching And Screaming, Broken Bonds and
Clickbait, if you can forgive it's lyrical content and enjoy some mosh sound), vocals aren't
great, but aren't awful either, and it does provide some fun. Probably because me likes some
Emmure.
But overall, I'm disappointed. Hope that their next album will be better. 2.3/5.
Dead by April Worlds Collide
Has some good moments, but just like the rest of DbA's discography - it's not my cup of tea.

2.0 poor
In Flames Sounds From The Heart Of Gothenburg
Setlist which "tears through the band's entire history"? How? There are
like 7 songs from Siren Charms and majority of this tracklist consists
of their recent albums. There is not a single pre-Colony song here and
I think that Resin and Only For The Weak were added as an attempt to
please their longtime fans (or former longtime fans, like me) and they
failed. My advice is if you want to see/hear some solid In Flames live
performance, then go and listen to their older live albums like Used
And Abused or The Tokyo Showdown. Don't bother with this.
In Flames Battles
Listened to the whole album, fortunately enough haven't fell asleep while doing it, still pretty hollow stuff compared to
Come Clarity. But this time I'm not disappointed, because if I was, that would mean that I still have faith in this band.
Now they're just pissing on their good name's grave and they don't plan to stop it.

1,9/5.
Like Moths to Flames The Dying Things We Live For
Another generic Risecore album that has good
production and some interesting moments.
Nonetheless, it's a shame to know that stuff like
this is still a thing in 2015. Thank you, Rise
Records! (a.k.a the best label in the world.)
Thirty Seconds to Mars Love Lust Faith + Dreams
Looking back at this album, I still think that it's bad, but it does have some decent songs like City of Angels and Bright Lights.

1.5 very poor
In Flames Siren Charms
Good lord, I thought that Metalsucks were joking about a boringness and hollowness of
this one, but it's true. This actually happened. Unlike The Hunting Party by Linkin
Park, that at least had redeeming qualities like good vocals, good drumplay and change
of direction, Siren Charms doesn't even have that.
Anders sounds so awful that I still can't believe that he used to sing and scream on
pre-Clayman albums, Clayman and Come Clarity. The instrumentals here are bland.
This is, so far, the worst In Flames album I've ever heard. Reroute To Remain was
average, Soundtrack To Your Escape was bad, same goes for A Sense Of Purpose and Sounds
Of A Playground Fading. But this is the new low for the band and for Anders himself. The
only thing that keeps me from giving this a 1/5 is because of some normal songwriting.
This album leaves me with a great fear that In Flames will never do not only their
actually REAL melodeath album, but also just a good album, like Come Clarity. rR.I.P In
Flames (1990-2014).
Make Me Famous It's Now or Never
I appreciate that Tyler Carter provided his vocals for "Inception", but that's about it. I understand that Denis was covering Attack Attack, Asking Alexandria and all other "Risecore/Sumeriancore" bands, but here's a thing: if you're ripping off those bands, you're doing something wrong.
Nine Lashes Ascend
It is one thing when you make Christian rock, but it's another when you make a bad Christian pop/EDM album. Does everyone will follow Maroon 5-type sellout now?
Thirty Seconds to Mars America
The only half-decent songs here are One Track Mind (and even this track does have its cringe moments) and Remedy. The rest is either boring af or really bad.

1.0 awful
Blood on the Dance Floor Scissors
Oh yeah, let's keep that straight average 1 going, boys!
brokeNCYDE I'm Not a Fan, but the Kids Like It!
If you are using dumb "rapper cliches", your look is really stupid and you don't have a basic clue how to rap, then GET THE HELL OUT OF MUSIC INDUSTRY!
Buckcherry Fuck
Well, usually I don't swear that much, but fuck this fucking piss-poor attempt at fucking gathering some fucking attention. (Hell, if this EP features a lot of F-bombs with zero redeemable qualities, then why not swear? Atilla would be so proud of this release.)
Korn The Path of Totality
An awful album, probably, the worst album of late 00's and early 10's of 21st century. If I had an opportunity, I would give it a 0.0 out of 5.0.
Linkin Park Recharged
This is, basically, a shitty version of The Path Of Totality by Korn(as if this trainwreck isn't shitty enough). It's a lot worse than Reanimation, as it doesn't have a very good material to work with and remixes are awful. If this wasn't a remix album, it would be the worst album of this generation.
Linkin Park One More Light
Yup, gave The Hunting Party a bump-up score from 2/5 to 4/5. I guess because of One More
Light, I have to revaluate several other albums and bands as well.
This doesn't sound like LP at all, it sounds like a poor man's The Chainsmokers. It's
like the only members in this band at this moment are Mike and Chester, who forgot how
to craft some solid songs. Not a single good track, way too poppy and boring, Suicide
Silence - step aside, a new challenger approaches.

UPD: R.I.P Chester. You will be missed. But, unfortunately, this album won't.
Tokio Hotel Schrei
Ow, look, a shitty version of Black Veil Brides. More emo and more girly. Hooray!
