An exemplary punk album, filled to the brim with catchy, fun songs. It helps that these songs are varied too, the record does not get repetitive it its 18-track runtime.

While I've liked all of their albums so far, it's really nice that this album is leaner and more focused. Max's move to bass is a great addition to the sound. No bad tracks, Augmented and As Fate Undoes tie for the catchiest, but A Primeval Detachment is the most memorable one for sure. Also,
"I like the guy's talent but he's not traumatized enough to be singing like this" is one hell of a wild take lmao [1]
