5.0 classic
Blondie Greatest Hits Deluxe Redux
It's amazing how good the band sounded 40 years older.
Kansas Leftoverture
Klaatu Hope
Not only is this a fantastic album but Klaatu learned from the mistakes of their their first album to make a wonderful and ultimately re-listenable concept album in Hope.

4.5 superb
Black Joe Lewis Tell 'Em What Your Name Is
Crobot Something Supernatural
Hiromi Spark
A wonderful album that has it all. Variety, complexity and near technical perfection.
Jason Isbell Southeastern
Lyrically, one of the best releases I've heard in a very long time. Musically sparse but that's really what's needed here.
Jet Black Sea The Overview Effect
I ran across these guys looking for something new and was amazed at how good this album is. In a way I liken it to Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. Not so much as mimicry but overall feel. It's absolutely hypnotic. As Marbles points out, songs just seem to fly by without feeling anywhere near as long as they are.rAlso, huge props to the production. Van Zeeland's choices of how to present this music is truly insightful. This album stands as a standard as to what a really good concept album should sound like.
Manchester Orchestra The Million Masks of God
Michael Kiwanuka Love and Hate
Nothing But Thieves Nothing But Thieves
StarSystems StarSystems III
The Decemberists What A Terrible World, What A Beautiful World
Tiny Skulls Songs From Some Depressing Movie

4.0 excellent
Black Moth Anatomical Venus
Charley Crockett $10 Cowboy
Danger 太鼓
Thanks for the link Austinuity. It was very interestingr
Daniela Andrade Shore
Deadmau5 While(1<2)
Elbow Little Fictions
Gary Moore Bad For You Baby
Gregory Porter Liquid Spirit
The tracks on this CD really accentuate Gregory Porter's rich and expressive voice that with beautifully sparse arrangements and superb production.
London Grammar If You Wait
Mutemath Voice In the Silence
Porter Robinson Worlds
Spoon They Want My Soul
Sylvan One to Zero
One of the things I appreciate about Sylvan is that they're not afraid to make a "pretty" album. This is beautifully orchestrated and performed.
Tears for Fears The Tipping Point
This is unexpectedly good. I was ready to dislike it out of hand but this is a really good TFF album. A nice mix of 80's pop sound and modern songwriting. Well done!
The Japanese House Pools To Bathe In
Tides From Nebula Safeheaven
Trans-Siberian Orchestra Letters from the Labyrinth
Great production quality, interesting and engaging lyrics/story and Trans-Siberian Orchestra's usual rock opera orchestration.

3.5 great
Black Pumas Black Pumas
Blood Orange Angel's Pulse
Franklin Zoo The Dandelion Child
Freedom To Glide Rain
Joy Ike Bigger Than Your Box
Joywave How Do You Feel Now?
Kansas The Prelude Implicit
Solid album. Kansas still...well...sounds like Kansas. Ronnie Platt does a great job on vocals. I could have done without the covers (on the deluxe version) - especially Home on the Range.
Khruangbin Con Todo El Mundo
Lucy in Blue In Flight
Paolo Nutini Caustic Love
Not ground breaking but well produced and very listenable.
Sara Bareilles What's Inside: Songs From Waitress
If you're looking for Bareilles' usual female pop, you may be disappointed in this album. However, if you enjoy the clarity and beauty of her voice and want to hear it placed into standard Broadway Musical form, you'll certainly enjoy this release. Make no mistake, each song is branded with her signature, playful delivery but from the start, it's apparent that this music belongs to a stage production.r
Skindred Volume
Definitely classic Skindred; Reggae metal with heavy riffs and very approachable.
The Last Summer For Lucy Congratulations To The Millionth Visitor At The So
The New Pornographers Brill Bruisers
Wheel (FIN) Moving Backwards
Willie Nelson Band Of Brothers
While age is starting to show a little in Willie Nelson's voice, there's just something comforting in his classic delivery. More importantly, with this CD, he proves that he's still one of the best country song writers that's ever lived
Yojimbo Cycles
Zeal and Ardor Wake of a Nation
Pretty solid EP. An interesting evolution from their previous stuff and holy shit is it poignant.

3.0 good
Amason Sky City
I'm not a huge fan of Indie Pop but this is very listenable.
Corinne Bailey Rae The Heart Speaks in Whispers
Enigma The Fall of a Rebel Angel
Not a lot to say that hasn't been said about previous Enigma releases. Well crafted songs, breathy sexy female voices, great production quality. It's pretty standard Enigma fare. That is to say interesting and enjoyable.
Nothing More Nothing More
A good listen. A few too many musical cliche's for my taste but well produced and good energy.
Shirley Bassey I Owe It All To You
While her voice is aging, it still has amazing power and emotion.
Shirley Bassey The Performance
So nice to hear her perform more contemporary material.
Spheric Universe Experience The New Eve
Very good musicianship, interesting lyrics but overall, nothing extraordinary.

2.5 average
Barenaked Ladies Silverball
BNL can always be counted on for radio friendly pop and, in that regard, this album doesn't' disappoint. Silverball does seem a bit more simple and kitchy than most of their previous work however. If you like BNL's other albums, you'll probably like this one. If you're meh on BNL, this album will probably disappoint or even annoy you. Personally, I was hoping for, though not expecting, a little more. Silverball isn't a bad album. Unfortunately, it's not a good one either.
Godsmack 1000hp
It seems that Godsmack is in a bit of a rut. Their last couple of releases have lacked much originality and, unfortunately, this CD falls into that category as well.
Heart Beautiful Broken
The Decemberists I’ll Be Your Girl

2.0 poor
Alicia Keys Here
This release is such a disappointment. It's basically a collection of cliche's around every modern social issue: blended families, black oppression, drug addiction, same sex relationships... all of which would be fine if the songwriting were up to the challenge but, unfortunately, it isn't; it feels disjointed and incomplete.

Basically, there's nothing to see here folks. Move along...move along.
Beyonce Cowboy Carter
Just reminds me why I don't like the country pop genre

1.5 very poor
