Everything here is gold. Making fun of and having fun with american culture and rock music. Humor
that balances goofiness and wittiness. Eclectic, energetic and catchy music that hooks you and
doesn't let go. One of the most enjoyable records.

3.5 great
Abscess Urine Junkies
This thing is fucking revolting. 40 mins of having a swim in the dirtiest disease infested sewage
waters. The energy and raw sound of punk mixed with the filth of Autopsy's death doom metal. Also,
some of the tastiest vocals found on this side of degenerate scumfuck music. This album is so
scummy it's admirable. GG Allin would be proud enough to smear his feces all over it.

Igorrr Nostril
Igorrr's songwriting philosophy: throw as many different types of music and sounds in the duration of a song and as long as they are connected by a central motif some will actually work. He was right.rIt might be really annoying or gimmicky for some with it's [i hope purposeful] offensive aesthetics and bad taste but for me this soup is plenty enjoyable in places.

Lou Reed Metal Machine Music
A big name in the 70s releasing a noise album? - I think that's a win. And it's not bad. Since it's made by a famous musician like Lou Reed people that are not usually into experimentation and noise come here just to check what the artist that they are listening to have produced and they end up being disappointed.

The unnecessary cheesy strings and wind instruments can really get on your nerves and ruin the songs that they are used in. At some points they even overshadow Nick's playing and singing. His songs work best when they are stripped down with not much instrumentation making them more personal and sincere. There are also 2 filler instrumental tracks.

An unsuccessful attempt at combining extreme metal with soft jazz fusion. The elements are not

Agalloch The Mantle
What is dull folk doing in my metal? A lot of worn out and uninteresting ideas stitched together with ambient sounds in between. This sounds like a post rock record that an adult contemporary band might put together and the lyrics were like reading the diary of a goth poseur that he wrote in college. By the 8th track the banality of this wasn't boring me anymore, it started to piss me off. Judging by the ratings I guess the 4 pop chords loop and generic sad tone really touches the young hearts.

The meathead nu metal riffs stretched out in over 6 mins songs, sped up, slowed down, sped up and
