I know its not what "fans" were looking for from Say Anything at the time, but why would you want them to produce all their music like ...Is a Real Boy? Personally I love that Say Anything is changing and showing that they do not actually have to be the immature band they started as. Don't get me wrong, I loved ...Is a Real Boy, but I find that looking deeper into this album and the lyrics behind most of the songs that it is actually very relatable, and a very well-written album. I wasn't sure what Max was thinking with a lot of the lyrics and his "harsher" style of vocals, but a few runs through the album and it started to grow on me immensely. rEveryone was waiting for the second ...Is a Real Boy album to come out, but I think that Hebrews shows a much more mature Max, and all of Say Anything for that matter. I've seen people talk about how Say Anything is "ruined" and "selling-out" but personally I love where they are going with their music. Max is finally happy, and his music is reflecting that. If you're a fan of Say Anything, you should definitely be able to enjoy this album, especially because Max's lyrics are astonishing. Chris and Jeff together make a pretty good team. Rather short album, being two songs are under 2 minutes long and it only has 7 tracks, but all in all I loved it. Chris Farren and Jeff Rosenstock working together is a match made in heaven! They work really well together and I'm So Tethered is a good example of that. As a short album, you can just tell that they had fun making it, and it's very fun to listen to. Definitely looking forward to anything they put out in the future.Brand New DaisyChewing On Tinfoil ShavingMan Overboard Heart AttackRise Against Revolutions per MinuteRise Against The Sufferer and the WitnessRise Against The Black MarketSay Anything Menorah/MajoraTaking Back Sunday Louder Now3.0 goodRise Against The UnravelingRise Against Appeal to ReasonRise Against EndgameTaking Back Sunday Taking Back Sunday2.5 averageChiodos IlluminaudioTaking Back Sunday New Again
