One of the only artists who collaborates with Justin Bieber that I will ever listen to, mainly because this album toys with typical cliches and changes them in a good way.

Fantastic. The band weaves a melodic hardcore tapestry to where both melodic and hardcore are perfectly represented, and never feel out of place.

Modern hardcore that feels every bit as energetic as when punk was in its heyday.

3.5 great
Adestria Gilded Hearts
They recovered from losing their keyboardist extremely well and have compensated appropriately. But some of the moments meant to be back-breakingly heavy end up falling flat on their faces. Still loads better than 95% of the bands that could be related to them.
Backtrack Darker Half
Childish Gambino Because the Internet

Generic, but not in the bad sense. They are essentially a Christian TGI but they just do something right that makes them rise above every other breakdown-laden melocore band ever.

For the Fallen Dreams Heavy Hearts
Northlane Singularity
Pity Sex Feast of Love
Stick to Your Guns Diamond
At times it feels like a poor rehash of "The Hope Division," and others it feels like STYG has found a more mature, yet undeniably energetic sound. Whenever it finds the latter, this is an enjoyable record. But whenever it swaps great lyrics from "The Hope Division" in favor of gems such as 'You homophobic shithead,' one cannot help but wonder what this band is trying to accomplish.
Texas in July One Reality
The Front Bottoms The Front Bottoms
The Front Bottoms Talon of the Hawk
Some songs don't work as well as they could. But the ones that do are so catchy and easy to relate to that you won't forget them until the day you die.
The Story So Far What You Don't See
It's a fantastic album, great from beginning to end. But the lack of innovation since US&D (Probably due to crushingly huge amounts of hype surrounding this band) keeps it from being as amazing as it could be.
Woe, Is Me Number[s]

2.5 average
Attila Outlawed
Being as an Ocean How We Both Wondrously Perish
Some of it felt pretentious, a lot of it felt like natural progression, but all of it felt like something was lacking from what made "Dear G-d" so special in the first place.
The Story So Far The Story So Far
Veil of Maya Matriarch

2.0 poor
Emmure Look At Yourself
Of Mice and Men Restoring Force
Tear Out The Heart Violence
Title Fight Hyperview
In an attempt to stop playing pop punk because they (And most of their fans) are getting a little old, Title Fight goes out of their way to change their sound entirely without knowing exactly what to do. Enjoyable at times, but amateurish at most.
Trash Talk No Peace

1.5 very poor
Emmure Goodbye To The Gallows
Emmure Speaker Of The Dead
For the Fallen Dreams Wasted Youth
For the Fallen Dreams, for all intensive purposes, is kind of bad. When they have Chad Ruhlig, they're a wonderful guilty pleasure of mine while not being the worst thing ever recorded. But this is an absolute train wreck, with everything from terrible songwriting to unbearable production.
Memphis May Fire Unconditional
It almost feels like Memphis May Fire has begun to play a game of "How shitty and pretentious can we make our band?" with this being its best effort yet.
Miss May I Rise of the Lion
I'll admit, I was a fan of "Apologies" and even "Monuments," and I would probably still jam them just for sheer nostalgia/guilty pleasure today. But this album is so watered down and boring (Even by "At Heart"'s standards) that it kills me to even think I was once a huge fan of them. It's a shame they were at my first core show and now they're a pitiful excuse for a metal band.

Emmure has reached the point where an album this bad isn't even a disappointment, it's simply expected. But this is truly a new low, even for them.
