Imma review it later.4.0 excellentDeadmau5 7It's extremely unusual for an EDM producer to come up with a slight attempt to musically explain feelings via piano loops and hellish background ambience. In this case, it works. The unique nature of this album from a producer with a reputation of one of the best EDM producers grants it an extraordinary reputation filled with both disappointment and confusement. A strike against all expectations with a work that goes straight to the crossfire. '7' provides no explanations to its sad and mysterious structure. Perhaps it needs none. A small, innocent and silent attempt to tell something personal from a very unusual contact. I hope I could message him back and ask how he's doing after all the screaming and scandals. a beautiful piano-filled EP, which attempts to tell about some struggles in the life of deadmau5.Deadmau5 While(1<2)Deadmau5 Stuff I Used To DoMcMaNGOS InsomniaInsomnia is like a flickering light in a distance, calling someone to listen. And when you listen, you hear it whisper to your ear things that you've forgotten. An excellent EP to cheer one's day. Replaying it makes it even better, which is rare in modern music. That said, I think McMaNGOS is a talented person to go on this path and expectations for longer projects are warming my heart.Passenger of Shit Shit Is Harder Than PenisIt offers excellent sadisfaction by using sarcastic ways no other music is able to create. I laughed like a carpet and carpets can't laugh, so I became a carpet that can laugh. I also ate my own brain and puked it out while it was all in my head. This stuff is some rather radical rave ravaging. Is nice.Puff Pieces Bland in D.CSome pretty interesting post-punk, not causing massive walls of sound to convey abstract messages but sticking to some very simple soundscapes and singing about some very casual and familiar subjects with a very satiric and mocking approach. Like the name tells it is a very bland experience on the first listen, but the blandness kind of faded away for me and what I got to listen was a pretty tight punk album, that is IF you disregard the extremely stiff instrumentals and Kraftwerk-ish lyrics. Giving this a four in this case, Puff Pieces brings a very minimal style of post-punk that might be attractive to some, "Bland in D.C" was an interesting experience too, something that you can devote little time to, gain something worth your time, find new details in the music and come back to the album again sometime.Skrillex Quest for Fire3.5 greatBurial Subtemple/BeachfiresPuff Pieces Puff PiecesRebecca Black Rebecca Black Was Here3.0 goodBurial Chemz/DolphinzDolphinz is out, there's probably a point where you can take the ambient experiment too far and a delphinarium is probably that point...If there even is delphinariums anymore.Deadmau5 W:/2016ALBUM/2.5 averageBurial Pre Dawn/IndoorsSkrillex RecessIs ok. My favourite track is Doompy Poomp. Is good variation. I like the alien theme.2.0 poorKanye West Donda1.0 awfulSkrillex Make It Bun Dem After HoursIt's a good way to make yourself feel pathetic. Though French Fries remix gives decent variety, this album is most certainly horrible ****.
