Black Sabbath Mob Rules
A truly underrated effort with the Black Sabbath name on it. I could argue that this is my favorite Sabbath album. Dio shows that he is much more powerful vocalist than Ozzy and Tony Iommi totally kicks it into high gear with this album. I had the title track on infinite loop as a kid; I could'nt get enough of that song. IF YOU LISTEN TO FOOLS, THE MOB RULES.

Creed My Own Prison
Anyone who hates on this album has clearly never heard it and it just jumping on the "Creed sucks" bandwagon. My Own Prison is a wonderful debut release, and Creed's only great album to date. Many of the songs convey an actual sense of forgiveness and emotion that most other grunge acts do not. Stapp may be a pretty bad vocalist, but he doesn't stop the excellent riffage of Scott Tremonti. Human Clay is good too, but the rest aren't worth listening too.

Eminem The Marshall Mathers LP
Ennio Morricone The Thing
"Razzie Award for Worst Music" nomination my ass. This excellent horror film is backed up by a haunting horror soundtrack. Whether its the bass-driven "thum thum" of the main theme, or the violins and trumpet harmonies in tracks like "Humanity (Part 1)", the score succeeds in giving you the chills.
Entombed Left Hand Path
Entombed Wolverine Blues
One of those underrated metal efforts, one of the catchiest death metal records around. Great shit, one of my favorite childhood records.
Entombed Morning Star
Everclear Sparkle And Fade
Excel The Joke's on You
Possibly the most underrated album ever made. Kick ass song after kick ass song after kick ass song; its a complete mystery why this album didn't rocket into the hands of metalheads everywhere. The vocalist isnt very all...but he has a writing credit on every song (some songs where written by him alone) so I'm glad he's in the band. FIND THIS ALBUM.

Gorillaz Gorillaz
How anyone can give this unique album anything below a 4.0 is just dumbfounding. There is not a single flaw I can find with this majestic creation. Songs such as "5/4", "Clint Eastwood", "Double Bass", "Latin Simone", "19-2000", and "Rock The House" are true earworms with idealistic melodies and spicy rhythms that wouldn't usually fit together. Simply put: its brilliant.
Gorillaz Plastic Beach
When this album was released, I rushed to the store and bought it on the first day. To be honest, I was very dissapointed at how mellow and soft the album was. I called it "Gorillaz for the old folks home" and gave it a 2/5. After years of relistening, I've noticed things I didnt hear the first time, like how awesome "Stylo" and the title track are, like the pristine and lovely recording, the fact that for the first time ever Damon Albarn sounds like he can sing...almost. My rating has risen ever since, and I soon may find myself rating it a 4.5/5. I still think the album quite mellow, too mellow when compared with Demon Days, but its worth a listen for sure. I don't think I'll ever feel the same way about The Fall.

Pantera Reinventing the Steel
I truly don't understand why the majority considers this to be Pantera's worst effort post their glam
metal days. Why? This album is kick ass. Seriously, this album slays. The riffs are all immense and
heavy as fuck, as well as actually comprehensible, unique, and catchy unlike their last few albums,
the lyrics are actually meaningful and reflect an aged and matured band, the production is by far the
best of any of Pantera's albums (no longer the staticy guitar tone and muffled drums) and Dimebag's
guitar work is
at his absolute peak. "We'll Grind That Axe For A Long Long Time" or "Death Rattle" are perfect for
getting pumped up for a football game. This album is fantastic...actually it's the best and EASILY the
smartest Pantera album ever. suck it bitches

I get that this is complete shit but it's so fucking funny to me. The rhymes are genuinely good occasionally and

only half sarcastic.

Good album, but I enjoy a handful of Gorillaz non-singles more than the big songs. And why do they keep insisting "Tomorrow Comes Today" be at the beginning of the albums when it should be the closer? Also, the Ed Case remix of "Clint Eastwood" blows chunks and they could've used the space on "Plastic Beach".

It sounds like it was recorded in someone's closet, which it probably was, but its a pretty solid EP. The "Why Me?" on this record is pretty different from the version that ended up on Soulless Machine, but "Fingernail" and "Wereleopards" are thick and thrashy. "Secret Face" is also a great cover of Death.

A black metal sound with short song lengths and heavy riffage; a mixture of black metal and hardcore. A bit hard to listen to at first, but it gets tolerable by song three. Some awesome shit here.

This would've been an easy 4.5/5 if the "lyrics" had any structure, like the songwriters got really creative and used the quotes to make a hilarious story or something, not just random soundbites that make no sense. As it is, it's still fucking hilarious.
I give this album props for being one of the most surreal atmospheres I've ever heard (being made by a 16-year-old who actually committed to finishing an album, one of the very few who have done so). However, if I really just wanted to listen to multiple minutes of the same sound bites being repeated on a seemingly infinite loop, then I'd go listen to Burzum.

Black Sabbath hitting copy and paste. "Beginning Of The End" is an exact replica of "Black Sabbath" and most of the songs are just generic doomy tracks. "God Is Dead?" Is one of the best Sabbath songs ever though, and the production is lovely. That bass tone is fantastic!

Death Fate: Best of Death
We all love Death, but I must say that I am much more in favor of 90's Death than 80's Death. The technical progressive they evolved to is entrancing and it used to make me feel smarter, but none of it is on this album. I realize that, at the time, only one of their progressive albums had been released, but even then, only one song off of it appears here. And why is there no "Leprosy" or "Evil Dead"? C'mon guys.

Gorillaz The Fall
The Fall: such a fitting album name. This album is complete waste of time and it documents the fall of a great band. The recording sound is flat and its no surprise that this was made on an iPad. The songs are monotonous and utterly pointless, as most of them just repeat the same screeching electronic dribble for a few minutes before fading into the next song that sounds identical to the last. The highlight of the entire thing is "Revolving Doors" which is thankfully the second track, but even this song would be a forgotten filler track on any other Gorillaz CD. When I bought Plastic Beach when it first came out, I gave it a 2/5 and almost despised it, but I have grown to like it alot and it now has a 4/5. I highly, highly doubt this will ever happen to The Fall.

Because the ratings for this album are so diverse and nobody will explain their side beyond a simple "it is good"
or "this sucks," I'll be the first to explain. Some good songs here, but holy fucking shit the mixing is AWFUL.
Paysage D'Hiver has better quality than this. That's really what it all narrows down too; the drums sound like they
were recorded a mile down the road and the guitars take up 100% of the mix.

This album is a toatal waste, but it isnt as horrendous as everyone lables it as. C'mon guys, admit it, you only listened to the first song, heard Ice-T, and shut if off. As someone who paid money for the CD back in the day, I've actually listened to every song (gasp!). Yes, the first song is one of the worst songs I've ever heard, but Get A Grip is pretty damn good and Shaking Off The Chains is also a decent listen. Cant Get Close Enough is also a one of the best songs with Martin on it, but it sounds like something Nirvana would do. The rest is just bland and generic with nothing special. Skip the first song, but listen to tracks 2,3, and 4, but then shut off the album because it will offer you nothing but what you've already heard.

I know it's popular and trendy or whatever to shit on this band, but goddamn do I not
give a flying fuck. This is one of the worst things I have ever heard. It could've come
from Pink Floyd or Mozart or that fuckass hipster indie band down the street, it wouldn't
matter. Remember that douchebag back in the 8th grade who wore the same Tapout shirt
every day,
kept his sunglasses on indoors at all times, and wouldn't shut up about how much
imaginary pussy he got? Probably named like Trent or Hunter? Imagine they cloned that kid
four times and then they all got together and formed a band using songs they wrote within
5 minutes. Basically, Dark Horse.
