I have listened through AA's previous two albums hundreds of times and I loved them. So naturally this new release took some getting used to, but not much. I think the new style really works for them and the instruments sound a bit more tasteful. Danny's vocals (while he doesn't have nearly as much range as he used to) sound more natural and I think it's working well for him.
