First, when a band indicates that they are moving towards a "heavier sound", you can typically assume to hear quite a bit of chugging and lack of creativeness. That is not the case with Slave to Nothing. This album is for the most part brutally heavy. However, this heaviness is achieved without compromising technicality in guitar riff's. The drums are superb, and the new clean vocalist adds a new/dynamic tone to the music. Well done. These Hearts Yours To Take4.5 superbI See Stars New DemonsBy far the best I See Stars album yet! I've been interested in seeing how their style of EHM would turn out and I must say it doesn't disappoint. I'm very excited for the future of this band, and other bands who decide to take part in EHM!
