This definitely took at least ten listens to let it fully sink in. It's really brilliant. The storytelling, orchestration, and flow from song to song all work so well. My favorite songs are The Moon/Awake, Melpomine, Gloria, and The Haves Have Naught.

This is such a great mix of old and new Dev. "Higher" is the perfect reflection of his discography within a single song. The only comment that I have is that I think the use of Anneke's voice has run its course. It was great on Addicted! and played well enough on Epicloud and Z2, but I definitely prefer the songs without her at this point.

Pretty run-of-the-mill Mastodon. Fortunately, their sound and style are so solid that it's almost hard for them to make a bad album. This falls slightly higher than Once More 'Round The Sun and the Hunter, but it's going to be hard for them to ever top Crack the Skye.
