The V is a 4. Much better than either the Carter IV, and perhaps better than the Carter III. This thing has legs. Didn't like Dedicate or Uproar, but those were the dullest tracks instrumentally. It kept getting better

3.0 good
+44 When Your Heart Stops Beating
96 Bitter Beings Camp Pain
All Them Witches Sleeping Through the War
I find it hard to get into this group, when it seems that Cake's frontman just kind of atonally
talks over these great riffs and musical ideas. When he is singing, it's good.

Daisy, Million Enemies aka "My Sharona", Hollowed Out, Animal, Under, Dreams of Grandeur. The rest
of the album is a hard pass. V only had about 3 tracks that didn't click. This is worse. And V
was worse than Afraid of Heights by an order of magnitude... dude.
Wes Borland Crystal Machete
