Periphery II: This Time It's Personal is one of the finest examples of fluid technicality out there today.2.0 poorBorn of Osiris Tomorrow We Die AliveTomorrow We Die Alive is an album full of Point A's that never really reach any true Point B's. Amongst an excessive amount of generic chugs and stagnant structures, BoO's identity is not lost, but their ability as musicians only appears in brief spurts. Between the newly applied, Chester Bennington-esque vocal style of their keyboardist/co-vocalist and boxed-in, simple skeleton arrangements, one has to wonder why Born Of Osiris would ever swap their skills as songwriters for a streamlined collection of B-sides that want to be singles.
