This may seem like I'm giving the album a better rating than it deserves, and I probably do, but it's just everything I was expecting and more. Our Legacy is probably one of the best songs I've ever heard period.

Strong opening tracks, but after Beelzebub, the album just becomes noise and screams, even if you're used to the sound. Production sounds weird but fits the mood. Gonna be fun live.

British Melodic Hardcore band Polar definitely shows some great potential with their debut EP This Polar Noise. This is five tracks of raw emotion, be it the manic shrieks of lead singer Adam Woodford or the well-produced guitars, bass and drums. Recommended listen: Shanghai Junk

If you asked me prior to the release if it would make sense for In Flames to tour with Papa Roach I would've laughed in your face. But after listening to the whole album (it's up for streamz on Metalhammer), it makes sense. This is a Hard Rock record, and In Flames is now a Hard Rock band. And not one of the worst at that.

Dressed Up As Life was great. Tri-Polar was... okay after all. THIS now, ladies and gentlemen, is poor radio rock with some inspiring lines like "Don't bring a knife to a gunfight, you'll lose."rI was so excited when I heard that they announced a new album, but after I've seen the tracklist it was clear that this would be shitty. And guess what, the songs are as bad as their titles.
