5.0 classic
Burzum Hvis Lyset Tar Oss
A classic within the genre, Hvis Lysett Tar Oss pushed the genre into a deeper hell than any Satanist ever
could. This was depression, the damned doom of shattered hope. Varg's shrieks have never been so
meaningful, his riffs (guitar and keys) never so mournful, his drumming never so driving. An essential for
anyone's collection.

4.0 excellent
Judas Iscariot Heaven In Flames
Judas Iscariot's most popular release, I think, is excellent. Not bad, but not amazing. It didn't rock my world or anything (sadly), like I hoped it would. But I love Judas Iscariot. I love what he does, I love his nihilism, his bleak USBM. His debut was awesome, Of Great Eternity was interesting, and Dethroned, Conquered and Forgotten was awesome. And Heaven in Flames, well, it's cool. It's a good, excellent release from the old school king of USBM.
