| This album..I'm not particularly fond of it. The reason being, is it's simply boring in my eyes. Trust me, I love all sorts of Experimental music, but Pagan Muzak is nothing special to me. I've seen many people act like it's a landmark for industrial and experimental music, but personally I highly disagree. It's 17 songs, each a minute long, that consists of a 1 second loop of some sort of sound. I have no idea how it was done, but I don't find it impressive. I don't get the hype I've sen throughout the years. Another legendary Industrial album, 20 Jazz Funk Greats, by Throbbing Gristle, I find much more impressive. But anyways, back onto Pagan Muzak, I don't like it simply because I can't "get into it" I can't..feel it. I've tried to, I really have, but I just don't get it. I don't feel anything when listening to it, as while listening to another Industrial album, I get feelings of Chaos, Hopelessness, Destruction, etc. Here I feel nothing. But I'm completely okay with other fans loving it. I just don't. |
