Perhaps the build-up of distorted aggression is foreshadowing the philosophical as to whether God is dead. The first verse being to take us to a familiar Sabbath; the minimalist Sabbath, sludge and all to beg the listener to keep up with the slow pace. The chords, dark with minor and modifieds, are using this as the foundation upon which the listener should begin to analyze the question. The pace suggests that there may not be a quick way to get to the answer of whether or not God is dead. And then post-chorrus, which did a bang-up job explaining what the listener is supposed to do--intellectually--with the song. And then a statement from the man hinself: God is not dead.Ozzy Osbourne Blizzard Of Ozz4.5 superbOzzy Osbourne No Rest For The Wicked
