Little did I know how much I'd enjoy this album when I first stumbled upon its horrendous cover art. Mix amazing voices, classic progressive guitars and synths with a huge dose of positivism and this masterpiece comes out.rDon't miss the opening track or the chill-inducing "Bluebells".

C418 Volume Beta
Volume alpha was already pretty good, but Beta is SO much better. Also, about 2h 20min long. Where does this guy pull out all this excellent material from?
Depeche Mode Delta Machine
I've never been a fan of Depeche Mode but this album hit me hard. All the songs sound slow
and calm, but powerful at the same time. The careful fusion of synths, drums, basses and
voices shows off a lot of experience and work behind this project.

Highlights: Welcome to my World, Heaven, The Child Inside, Should Be Higher, Alone.
Dirty Projectors Swing Lo Magellan
Engineers Engineers
Grouper The Man Who Died in His Boat
Los Campesinos! Hold On Now, Youngster...

Modest Mouse The Moon & Antarctica
Modest Mouse The Lonesome Crowded West
Mystery Skulls Mystery Skulls
This EP makes me think more artists should consider if they've got enough to properly fill an LP record. This is a short, concise collection of five great tracks that have no low points or fillers whatsoever.
Nana Grizol Love It Love It
Padang Food Tigers Ready Country Nimbus
Panda Bear Person Pitch
Prefab Sprout Crimson/Red
Rhian Sheehan Stories From Elsewhere
A mesmerizing collection of beautiful and relaxing tunes that mix electronic music,
traditional instruments and recorded sounds. I've got to listen to this while laying on my
back and watching the clouds pass.

The Front Bottoms Talon of the Hawk
Catchy, loud and full of energy, Talon of the Hawk is one of the best follow-ups this year even if it doesn't fall very far from the band's first album.
The Hotelier Home, Like NoPlace Is There

Raury Indigo Child
People be hatin' man. I'm not a hip hop person, but this is pretty rad.rOr maybe that's the reason I like it.
Streetlight Manifesto Somewhere in the Between
Sweet Trip Velocity : Design : Comfort
The Knife Deep Cuts
Vacationer Relief
There's some great tracks in here, but in the whole it lowers the level "Gone" achieved two years ago.
