Between the Buried and Me Colors
One of the best things to ever grace an entire generation. Ladies and gentlemen, Colors.
Converge Jane Doe
This is unexplainably magnificent. Words can't describe this, unless it's "rawrawrawrawrawraw". A masterpiece if not THE masterpiece: it is crunchy, heavy Hardcore/Metal. It's complex in every way: musically, lyrically, emotionally. Although you only hear Jacob Bannon yelling "rawrawraw", he's yelling somehting else. Hidden lyrics behing the blistering guitars, distorted bass, and thunderous drums. "Jane Doe" is the ultimate perfect definiton of "love": Every shape of this feeling is shown in every song. Someone who meant everything ends up becoming nothing. This is a perfect album. It's "Jane Doe".
Deftones White Pony
The 11 phases of a nightmare. A masterpiece in every sense of word: musically, lyrically, strangely, frighteningly, emotionally, angrilly, magnificently, superblly.
Dream Theater Images and Words
"Images And Words" was one of the albums I grew up with, and my favorite record as a child. The album that got me into my favorite genre (Progressive Metal). And after all these years, it still is a flawless album.
James Blake Overgrown
"Overgrown" marks the ascendance of James Blake as one of the best pop artists of all time. Mixing dubstep with pop, Rn'B, rap and soul and creating an ashtounding masterpiece. The best album of 2013 so far, and I doubt this year will witness anything as magnificent as this record. Ladies and gentlemen, "Overgrown". James Blake in his purest.
Kanye West My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
A beautiful journey in the ego and in the dark and twisted mind of Kanye West. Beautiful, dark and twisted, indeed. A significant masterpiece in hip-hop history that showcases Yeezy doing what he does best: rap about himself and just being an egocentrical genious.
Kendrick Lamar good kid, m.A.A.d city
Kendrick Lamar pours his feelings and emotion towards the music included in "good kid, m.A.A.d city" and creates what is a masterpiece and one of the best rap albums of all time. A timeless album. Martin Luther King's dream came true in the shape of Kendrick Lamar's dream.
Opeth Still Life
A beautiful love story with a tragic ending followed by perfect music. You get as many colossal riffs and ferocious growls as you get breathtaking acoustic passages and jazzy sections in songs like "The Moor" and "Face Of Melinda". "Still Life" is a perfect, magnificent piece of art. The ultimate juxtaposition of light and darkness. The musical landscape of forbidden love.
Opeth My Arms, Your Hearse
"My Arms, Your Hearse" is unarguably Opeth's most overlooked record. Opeth's 1998 release is a work of art, and one of the most brilliant masterpieces ever known to man. The perfect mix between old and new Opeth: evil and crushing riffs, ashtounding and gorgeousacoustic passages, followed by splendid lyrics that make for a beautiful concept. "My Arms, Your Hearse" is a frightening and heartfelt musical landscape of perfection.
Pink Floyd The Dark Side of the Moon
The Dark Side Of The Moon is an immense and hypnotizing journey through the depths of music. The soundtrack to life in heaven.
Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here
Dark Side Of The Moon? The Wall? Animals? Yes, important and excellent albums. But none as fantastic as "Wish You Were Here" is. This is the brightest star in Pink Floyd's discography. It's heaven.
Radiohead OK Computer
There are many different kinds of sadness, and they're all included in this masterpiece. OK Computer is musical depression. Go get yourself some tissues, your ears will cry of joy.
Tool Lateralus
One of my favorite albums of all time, if not my favorite of them all. The ultimate musical analysis of the human being in every way: mentally, physically, emotionally. "The Grudge" is the anger. "The Patient" is the thought. "Schism" is the communication. "Parabola" is the life. "Lateralus" is the curiousity of the human being to discover something new about itself and the world around him/her every day. And the final blending of the three final songs of the record, "Disposition/Reflection/Triad" is about the human being itself. Riddled with flaws, but PERFECT IN IT'S OWN UNIQUE WAY. The words I wrote with Caps Lock shortly define this outer galaxy of an album that stands beyond the realms of music. Enter Lateralus.
Tool Ænima
The angrier, maddest and darker side of Tool. The narcissist in Tool's short but brilliant catalogue. A journey through the depths of darkness and anger. Best Tool album? Not for me, but still one of the best albums of all time. A pleasant nightmare.

4.5 superb
Alice in Chains Dirt
Moody but heavy. Gloomy but heavenly. Doomy and angry, but full of life and emotion. Depression in the shape of music. Ladies and gentlemen, meet Dirt, Alice In Chains' eternal masterpiece.
Animals As Leaders Animals as Leaders
A mesmerizing debut album by Animals As Leaders. It's so unbelievably imaginative and yet so unexpectedly catchy that after you listen to this you just want to live this hypnotizing journey all over again. More than just music. An otherworldly experience in the creative mind of Tosin Abasi.
As I Lay Dying The Powerless Rise
"The Powerless Rise" is the ultimate proof that As I Lay Dying destroy much of the Metalcore genre. A colossal record, and one of the best Metalcore releases of all time. Lethal, blistering and heavy. Undoubtedly As I Lay Dying's best record to date.
August Burns Red Rescue & Restore
"Rescue and Restore" is the soundtrack to the band taking a huge leap forward and creating a different dimension of Metalcore, adding symphonic and percussive elements to their style. With tons of intelligent soundwriting, beautiful lyrics and pure emotion, August Burns Red create a masterpiece beyond the realms of Metalcore.
Bjork Homogenic
The way electronica should always be done. This is Bjork at it's darkest, creating the piece of art that is "Homogenic".
Black Sabbath Paranoid
"Paranoid" is as important as it is amazing. One of the most important albums in the history of music, and definately one of the best albums of all time. Who hasn't heard "Iron Man"'s opening riff or "Paranoid" as a whole? "Paranoid" blends so many genres into one single record: Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, Stoner Rock, Doom Metal and even some Pop-like catchiness. Easily an essential album for any Metal fan. When someone asks me "I want to listen to Heavy Metal, what record should I buy and hear?", my answer is quite short. "Paranoid".
Black Sabbath Heaven and Hell
Could Black Sabbath ever go on without the legendary Ozzy Osbourne? Yes. And who would replace such an icon? The one and only Ronnie James Dio. The Iommi doom riffs are there. Geezer's amazing bass lines and Bill Ward's overwhelming fills are there. It's Ronnie James Dio's magical voice and his otherworldly lyrics that make the difference in this Sabbath record, making it the most dynamic masterpiece in the Godfathers Of Heavy Metal's catalogue.
Converge All We Love We Leave Behind
Converge have always been emotional, heavy and mathematic musicians. "All We Love We Leave Behind" is yet another great exemple of that, and a massively fantastic addiction to Converge's discography. Unlike many albums, this one doesn't show signs of filler or unecessary tracks. This doesn't bore me. It's seventeen skull-crushing songs that make time fly away so fast that when it ends I just want to listen to it all over again.
Death Human
Chaotic. Mind-blowing. Bone-scattering. Ferociously heavy. "Human" is the essencial album in Death's superb discography. Death Metal perfection.
Deftones Saturday Night Wrist
Dream Theater Train of Thought
In "Train Of Thought", Progressive Metal masters Dream Theater rely more on their heaviness and on melancholy. From the upbeat riffage in "As I Am", to the bone-scattering agressiveness in "Honor Thy Father", to the soulful acoustic moment that is "Vacant", right to the melancholic emotion in "Endless Sacrifice" and the mix of everything in Dream Theater's diverse arsenal in the closer "In The Name Of God", this record is phenomenal.
Iron Maiden Powerslave
The higher pinnacle in one of the best bands of all time's legendary discography. A stunningly well-crafted record full of outstanding guitar playing, amazing bass lines, powerful drumming, unbelievable vocals and mysteriously intellligent lyrics. Powerslave has it all and is one of the best Metal records of all time.
Iron Maiden The Number of the Beast
"The Number Of The Beast" is Iron Maiden's first album featuring Bruce Dickinson's iconic and magnificent vocals. One of the most contemplated Metal albums of all time, featuring ace Iron Maiden tunes, such as the upbeat "Run To The Hills", the anthemic "The Number Of The Beast" or one of the 10 best songs ever made, "Hallowed Be Thy Name".
Killswitch Engage Alive or Just Breathing
"Alive Or Just Breathing" is where the wave of Metalcore began. The first epitaph of Metalcore and one of the best albums in the genre by one of the best bands in the genre. "The Element Of One", "Just Barely Breathing" and "Rise Inside" are three of ny favorite songs of all time.
Killswitch Engage As Daylight Dies
"As Daylight Dies" is Killswitch Engage in their most dynamic form, reaching a heartfelt and crunching sound that marks an entire era of the band: the era with the unbelievable Howard Jones. "My Curse" and "The Arms Of Sorrow" are two of my favorite songs of all time.
Laura Stevenson Wheel
Laura Stevenson releases an indie-rock masterpiece given the name of "Wheel". A really enjoyable album, this never gets boring and I could listen to it for a lot of time. Definately one of the best releases of this year.
Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin IV
Classic in everything it symbolized in rock. It includes one of my favorite songs ever, "Stairway To Heaven". Rock n' Roll anthems such as "Black Dog" and "Rock And Roll". But it has flaws: filler tracks. Two of them, and I think everyone already knows which songs are these two fillers. Could be an almost perfect album. But it is almost-almost-almost perfect.
Led Zeppelin Physical Graffiti
"Physical Graffiti" isn't any double album. The Led Zeppelin masterpiece is the ultimate double album. Sure there is some filler, but there also are perfect songs, such as the groovy "Kashmir", the mystical "In My Time Of Dying" or the hidden gems that are "Down On The Seaside" and "Ten Years Gone".
Led Zeppelin Houses of the Holy
The relaxed and chilling side of Led Zeppelin: the masters of Rock n' Roll and explorers of several different genres, who blended all those genres and created an unique style. Zeppelin-esque style. Such an exotic journey.
letlive. Fake History
A ferocious and overwhelming debut album by Letlive. Every song is so catchy, so balanced, so frenetic, so lethal and filled with amazing, heartfelt lyrics and raw emotion. "Fake History" is a completely honest album, and is anything but fake. A modern masterpiece that ensures Letlive's place among the best bands in Post-Hardcore history.
Megadeth Rust in Peace
This is not a Thrash Metal album. This is THE Thrash Metal album, although it could have been more than it was. Of course, it has "Holy Wars...The Punishment Due", "Rust In Peace...Polaris", "Hangar 18", "Five Magics", and my favorite Megadeth song, the heartfelt "Tornado Of Souls". But it also has unecessary moments that drag this down a little.
Metallica Ride the Lightning
One of the greatest Metal records ever. Never has been heard so much desperation and heaviness combined in one record. Back in the day, Metallica were the true definition of Metal, and Ride The Lightning is the absolute masterpiece that marked the band's successful career. Thrash Metal full of soul and emotion.
Muse Origin of Symmetry
"Origin Of Symmetry" is the ultimate peak in Muse's career, and the British rock band will never accomplish anything as diverse, as original, as eclectic and as hyperactively energetic as this record. Dear listener, get ready for some virtuosic guitar licks, funky basslines, blistering riffs, amazing drumming and euphorically gorgeous vocals. One of the best albums of the 21st century.
Opeth Blackwater Park
A stunning beast of an album. Opeth blend everything in their wide and diverse arsenal, creating what is the right place to start for any Opeth fan, and an essencial one to be in as well.
Opeth Damnation
Opeth create yet another masterpiece, this time by mellowing their sound and using their 70's progressive rock influences and jazz-acoustic sound. Damnation is as softened and melancholic Opeth can get.
Opeth Ghost Reveries
The most heavy and yet the most diverse album in Opeth's entire discography. In "Ghost Reveries", the Swedish progressive death metal band showcases crushing heaviness, beautiful melodies, mind-blowing polyrythms and gorgeous acoustic moments in a more delicate and diverse balance. "Ghost Reveries" is a dark journey through the depths of Opeth's diverse arsenal.
Pink Floyd Animals
"Animals" has the same problem "Dark Side Of The Moon" has: unecessary filler. "Animals" has less filler than Dark Side (which is why it is ranked higher), but both could be in "Wish You Were Here"'s level. Comparisons aside, I wanted to 5 this. A lot. But I just can't. Why? "Pigs On The Wing", that's why. Still a magnificent album.
Porcupine Tree Fear of a Blank Planet
Porcupine Tree's "Fear Of A Blank Planet" is the musical shape of the dark side of our teenage generation. So well-crafted, so beautiful and so appealing. Porcupine Tree created a masterpiece that is going to be remembered for years and years to come.
Queens of the Stone Age ...Like Clockwork
No filler or boring tracks here. "...Like Clockwork" is Queens Of The Stone Age merging all their influences, showcasing their amazing talent, mixing every single influence of theirs and delivering a stellar performance on what is the band's best album to date.
Radiohead Kid A
If OK Computer was the preparation for a world dominated by technology, than Kid A is the precise moment when the world gets dominated by it and people have to deal with it. The most experimental Radiohead album, and perhaps the most experimental album of all time. An album that was way ahead of all time. I'd believe if someone told me this album was released today. Every song in this is a masterpiece in a strange way. An amazing album, and although I didn't realize that at first, Kid A grew on me.
Radiohead In Rainbows
"In Rainbows" is a musical phenomenon. It has one problem: "Faust Arp" and the second disc, which is not even close to the first one.
Soundgarden Superunknown
Rawness, passion, agression, complexity and emotion all in one. Album highlights? I honestly can't pick, every song is great. Amazing drumming by Matt Cameron. Chugging bass by Ben Sheppard. Overwhelming guitar work by Kim Thayil. Magnificent, God-like vocal performances by Chris Cornell. Ladies and gentleman, Superunknown, one of the most important releases of the 90's.
The Beatles Revolver
"Revolver" is chilling, beautiful, and it was way ahead of it's time. The ultimate Pop album. The best Beatles album of all time, closely followed by Abbey Road. One of the few albums in which every song gets stuck in your head.
The Beatles Abbey Road
The most iconic album of all time. Everyone knows The Beatles and the colossal influence they've had in the musical world. Everyone knows that cover with the four gentlemen crossing that crosswalk. And the music Abbey Road contains is exactly what the cover and the influence The Beatles had is: iconic, colossal, beautiful, different and classic.
The Dillinger Escape Plan Option Paralysis
Such a colossal accomplishment. In "Option Paralysis", the Dillinger guys create an album full of everything: lethal brutallity, scatterbraining complexity, crushing heaviness and even heart-wrenching emotion in the shape of the flawless, heavenly ballad that is "Widower". Intensity at it's finest.
The Dillinger Escape Plan One of Us Is the Killer
With "One Of Us Is The Killer", The Dillinger Escape Plan release a unique masterpiece that is even more lethal and ferocious than anything in the Dillinger catalogue. There will hardly be releases anything that tops "One Of Us Is The Killer" this year. Crunchier than ever, and one of the best releases of 2013, if not the best one.
Tool 10,000 Days
This is yet another one of those albuma that could and SHOULD be a 5. Unfortunately, unecessary moments like "Lipan Conjuring" and ESPECIALLY "Viginti Tres" drag this down a lot. Still superb, just because without these fillers, this would be much better than the colossal Aenima, and perhaps better than the magnum opus of the band, Lateralus. It would be the perfect record. Oh well, I'll keep listening to this without those annoying fillers.
Weezer Pinkerton
The silliest album ever made. Not that it is a bad thing.

4.0 excellent
Alice in Chains Jar of Flies
alt-J An Awesome Wave
Alt-J debut with an intelligent, groovy, relaxing and interesting record. A great debut for a great band. This album truly is an awesome one.
Alter Bridge Blackbird
Alter Bridge AB III
Amon Amarth Deceiver of the Gods
Amon Amarth return with a colossal and heavy record that is arguably the golden viking in their discography. Brutal gutural vocals, crushing riffs, overwhelming leads, powerful drums and an amazing performance make "Deceiver Of The Gods" a stellar record.
As I Lay Dying An Ocean Between Us
With "An Ocean Between Us", As I Lay Dying truly mark their spot as one of the best bands of our generation by heading towards a different direction and executing Metalcore in a more Thrashy approach.
As I Lay Dying Awakened
In "Awakened", As I Lay Dying explore melodic territory, creating a solid, consistent, catchy and excellent record.
Avenged Sevenfold City of Evil
Avenged Sevenfold Nightmare
"Nightmare" marks Avenged Sevenfold's sound redefinition. The first album after Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan's tragic passing is the heaviest effort made by the American band as well. Who can deny the sheer emotion of the brilliant ballad "Fiction" or the dark aura and the powerful impact of the lengthy "Save Me".
Biffy Clyro Opposites
Billy Talent Dead Silence
Black Sabbath 13
Bring Me the Horizon There Is a Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It...
Bring Me the Horizon Sempiternal
"Sempiternal" shows Bring Me The Horizon taking a different approach to their sound and exploring experimental territory by adding synthetizers and more melody to their 2010-post heartfelt sound.
Crossfaith Zion
Darkthrone The Underground Resistance
Deftones Deftones
Deftones Diamond Eyes
Deftones Koi No Yokan
"Swerve City" and "Romantic Dreams" are average. I can't stand "Graphic Nature", I hate that awful song so bad. Take those three songs and you have a classic album. Since those three songs are included in this album, it is one with THREE fillers. Oh, the dissapointment.
Dream Theater Black Clouds and Silver Linings
Dream Theater A Dramatic Turn of Events
Drowning Pool Sinner
Old Drowning Pool, best Drowning Pool. Great lyrics, amazing riffs, superb vocals, tight drumming, prominent bass playing, well-written songs and magnificent musicianship. An exclellent and fun Metal record that, although it has flaws, it's still a great listen.
Foo Fighters The Colour and the Shape
Foo Fighters Wasting Light
Frank Ocean channel ORANGE
"channel ORANGE" is Frank Ocean being natural, and from this making naturally superb music.
Ghost (SWE) Infestissumam
An old-school style trip to the symphonic depths of hell. Also one of the best releases of 2013.
Gojira The Way of All Flesh
Eclectic extreme Metal at it's finest. Heavy, creative, innovative and otherworldly different. Welcome to the strange, experimental, beautiful, twisted and crushing Sound of French Metal masters Gojira.
Gojira L'Enfant Sauvage
In "L'Enfant Sauvage", Gojira hardworkingly create a record with no signs of filler, that if not for songs that do not match the highlights of this record, could easily be a 5. Still one of the best releases of 2012. "Explosia", "L'Enfant Sauvage", "The Axe", "The Gift Of Guilt" and "Born In Winter" and "The Fall" are six of the best songs I've heard in a long time.
Justin Timberlake The 20/20 Experience
Kanye West The College Dropout
An excellent debut by one of the best rappers of all time. Sure, it is really boring at times and has a lot of filler tracks, but "The College Dropout" is honest, heartfelt and funny: the exact way rap should always be done.
Kanye West Graduation
Killswitch Engage The End of Heartache
Korn Korn
Sinister, dark, loud, narcissistic, somber, angry and emotional. Korn's self-titled album is the musical definition of Jonathan Davis.
Lamb of God Sacrament
Lamb of God Resolution
Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin III
And this is the bluesy, jazzy side of Led Zeppelin. The part of Zeppelin's music that not only implies hearing it, but also feeling it.
Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin
Although repetitive and tiring at times, a brilliant debut by the best band to ever grace music that showcases every member's amazing talents.
Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin II
The edgy rock side of Led Zeppelin. Gets me rocking every single time.
letlive. The Blackest Beautiful
"The Blackest Beautiful" shows Letlive maturing even more and trying to be taken more seriously.. I'll admit, I first saw this as an average effort by Letlive, and the production is certanly not the best production ever, but with a few more listens it grew on me more and more. Despite the average production, the amazingness, the emotion and the groovy, dancing feel of every song make this a solid release by Letlive.
Machine Head The Blackening
Machine Head Unto the Locust
Mastodon Leviathan
Megadeth Endgame
Metallica Metallica
Nightwish Imaginaerum
A symphonic-style journey through the depths of mystery.
Nirvana In Utero
Nirvana Nevermind
Some might say Nevermind is an overrated album, perhaps THE most overrated album of all time. And in a way, it is. Others might say Nevermind is one of the best albums of all time, if not THE BEST album of all time. Not quite that, but definately one of the most important albums of all time. Nevermind represents the 90's musical revolution. A consistent, solid and excellent effort. Nirvana's best album. Perfect? No. Important? Yes. Good? You bet your ass it is.
Opeth Orchid
As lethal and ferocious as it is beautiful and touching, "Orchid" is an unforgettable record that marks the debut of one of the best bands of all time.
Opeth Morningrise
In "Morningrise", Opeth start defining their cohesive and unmatchable sound. "Morningrise" is a solid and well-crafted record, full of various emotions: sadness, torture, grief, loneliness and anger. On the other hand, "Morningrise" is a little unfocused and it can be a long at times, but still another magnificent Opeth record. "Black Rose Immortal" and "To Bid You Farewell" are two of my favorite Opeth songs ever.
Opeth Heritage
"Heritage" is a very overlooked effort in Opeth's discography. Some consider this to be their worst album, but in fact, it's experimentation and evolution at it's finest. Opeth deliver yet another brilliant record, this time in the shape of a prog/jazz fusion record.
Pearl Jam Ten
"Ten" isn't flawless, but it definately is an excelent record. This includes some of the best songs ever, like "Once", "Alive", "Jeremy", "Release" and my favorite Pearl Jam song "Black", which is also one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard in my entire life.
Radiohead The Bends
Radiohead is a band with many sides. They have a psychadelic side. They have an electronic side. They have a progressive side. And they also have a rocker side. If you're looking to hear more from Radiohead's rocker side, this is the record you must listen. "Fake Plastic Trees" and "Street Spirit (Fade Out)" are two of the best songs ever created.
Red (USA) End of Silence
Red (USA) Innocence and Instinct
Rise Against The Sufferer and the Witness
Seether Karma And Effect
Seether Disclaimer
Soilwork The Living Infinite
"The Living Infinite" makes me wonder how can a double-album be so consistent. Soilwork release this beast of a record that is a promising contender for Album Of The Year.
Tame Impala Innerspeaker
I like to define Tame Impala as The Beatles' and Pink Floyd's son who takes even more drugs than the two did combined. The ashtouning quality and the gorgeous melodies in this make my jaw drop. A chilling, relaxing and naturally beautiful record that marks the debut of one of the most promising acts of our generation.
Tame Impala Lonerism
It's like you're high when you're listening to this record.. Have you ever felt lonely? Isolated? Different from today's society? Calling all excluded loners. This is the musical drug that will sure get you higher than heaven.
Tool Undertow
"Undertow" is not like Tool's more recent releases. It's not theatrical or conceptual. But it is a crunching, solid debut by the prodogious Progressive band.

3.5 great
Alice in Chains The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here
Animals As Leaders Weightless
Tosin Abasi, Javier Reyes and Navene Koperweis take a completely different approach in their second record and take a completely different direction. Is this the band you adored for their hypnotizing melodies and clever musicality in "Animals As Leaders"? It is, but in it's organic and minor form and most average shape. Does that make a terrible record? No. Although boring at times, a great record nontheless.
As I Lay Dying Frail Words Collapse
As I Lay Dying Shadows Are Security
Between the Buried and Me The Parallax II: Future Sequence
Between The Buried And Me's most ambitious and colossal effort to date. This album can get very boring at times, but the amazing musicianship in this makes it for a great record.
Breaking Benjamin We Are Not Alone
Breaking Benjamin Phobia
Breaking Benjamin Dear Agony
Bullet for My Valentine The Poison
Cage The Elephant Thank You Happy Birthday
Drowning Pool Desensitized
Another ferocious and solid effort by Drowning Pool. It's not flawless. It's not Pantera. It's not the best Drowning Pool album. But it sure is a great album, packed with angst, anger, rage, skull-crushing brutallity and crunching heaviness.
Kanye West 808s and Heartbreak
Kanye West Yeezus
How can an album include as many superb superb songs as awful sounds given the name of "music"? A great release, but such a contradicting and inconsistent record. Here's "Yeezus", Mr. Kanye West's worst release.
Metallica Master of Puppets
Overrated albums? Here, Master Of Puppets, everybody. Yes, a great album with great songs such as "Master Of Puppets" and "Battery". As separate pieces, every song is amazing. As an album, the widely acclaimed "best Metal record of all time" is incoherent, incohesive and tedious.
Metallica Kill 'Em All
Metallica Death Magnetic
Metallica Beyond Magnetic
Nirvana Bleach
Paramore Brand New Eyes
Pearl Jam Lost Dogs
Pink Floyd The Wall
"The Wall" is definately the less psychadelic, more rocking side of Pink Floyd. Nice orchestral elements and a beautiful and meaningful concept. Classic tunes in this such as "Another Brick In The Wall" and "Confortably Numb". The problem? The same problem with The Dark Side Of The Moon: too much filling tracks that, although part of the concept, weren't really necessary as singular songs, and could be morphed in the beggining or in the end of the song that comes before/after. And it still has another problem: this double album drags for way too long and starts getting boring. Still a cohesive and excellent album though.
Red (USA) Until We Have Faces
Rise Against Siren Song of the Counter Culture
Rise Against Endgame
Slipknot Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses
Stone Sour House of Gold and Bones - Part 1
Stone Sour House of Gold and Bones - Part 2
The Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
The Beatles' most underrated and overrated album. Is that good? Is that bad? Well, it's both. An extremely important album in the history of music. Perfect? Best album of all time? No. Not at all. But an great record nontheless.
The Faceless Autotheism
Thousand Foot Krutch Phenomenon
Thousand Foot Krutch Welcome to the Masquerade
Three Days Grace One-X

3.0 good
A Day To Remember Homesick
A Day To Remember What Separates Me from You
Deadmau5 For Lack of a Better Name
Disturbed Indestructible
Drowning Pool Resilience
Disagreeing with those who say this is a bland album, this is actually good. There are groovy and crushing riffs all over this. Crunching metal to your ears, and although not as great as Sinner and somewhat boring, a decent release by Drowning Pool.
Escape the Fate Dying Is Your Latest Fashion
Five Finger Death Punch American Capitalist
Killswitch Engage Disarm the Descent
Korn Issues
Korn Untitled
Lamb of God Ashes of the Wake
Megadeth Th1rt3en
Nine Lashes World We View
Passenger (SWE) Passenger
Seether Finding Beauty In Negative Spaces
Slipknot All Hope Is Gone
Stone Sour Come What(ever) May
Sum 41 Underclass Hero
Three Days Grace Life Starts Now

2.5 average
All That Remains Overcome
As I Lay Dying Beneath the Encasing of Ashes
Avenged Sevenfold Avenged Sevenfold
The average of average albums. This would be so much worse without "A Little Piece Of Heaven".
Black Label Society Order Of The Black
Bullet for My Valentine Scream Aim Fire
Escape the Fate Ungrateful
Falling in Reverse The Drug in Me Is You
Killswitch Engage Killswitch Engage (2009)
Korn Life Is Peachy
Muse The 2nd Law
My Bloody Valentine m b v
"mbv" is basically My Bloody Valentine throwing all their potential to waste and delivering a lazy and tedious effort. I actually had high hopes when I started listening to this, ending up dissapointed with my first impression of who are My Bloody Valentine. Perhaps this won't happen with "Loveless"...will it?
Papa Roach The Connection
Shinedown Amaryllis
Stone Sour Audio Secrecy
Suicide Silence The Cleansing
Thousand Foot Krutch The End Is Where We Begin
Three Days Grace Transit of Venus

2.0 poor
All That Remains A War You Cannot Win
Avenged Sevenfold Hail to the King
"This will be a laid back hard rock album", said M. Shadows. There's still the ridiculous Avenged Sevenfold sound, this time not mixed with Metalcore, but with some sort of mix between Hard Rock and Thrash Metal. Lazy songwriting plus laughable lyrics, in addiction to Metallica, Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath rip-offs and to boring song lengths equals the most ridiculous, annoying, worst album in Avenged Sevenfold's entire career, as well as one of the year's worst releases.
Black Veil Brides Wretched and Divine
Bullet for My Valentine Fever
Eminem Relapse
Escape the Fate This War Is Ours
Green Day 21st Century Breakdown
Megadeth Super Collider
My Chemical Romance Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys
The My Chemical Romance let-down. Very poor songwriting, average musicianship, annoying Asian girls yelling and a poor story concept make "Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys" a unmemorable record and the failure of the band's career.
Papa Roach Metamorphosis
Seether Holding Onto Strings Better Left To Fray

1.5 very poor
Black Veil Brides Set the World on Fire
Bullet for My Valentine Temper Temper
Escape the Fate Escape the Fate
Green Day iTRE!

1.0 awful
Asking Alexandria Stand Up and Scream
Asking Alexandria Reckless and Relentless
Black Veil Brides We Stitch These Wounds
Black Veil Brides Rebels
Falling in Reverse Fashionably Late
Falling In Reverse were already an average band. Of course, Jacky Vincent and Ryan Seaman are truly talented musicians, but not even them can save the Metalcore/Rapcore/Emocore/Screamo/Shitcore band from what it has became due to Ronnie Radke's larger-than-life ego, awful rapping and terrible ideas. "Fashionably Late" is the demise of an average band.
